my drama!

Monday Ethan tripped & hurt his foot on a water hose so we called the doctor & had him set an appointment by Tuesday. I called Lyn that we cancelled our trip to the Zoo since we had to bring Ethan to see his doctor and got his x-ray & we were so glad that he didn't broke it he already had a broken leg last year & that wasn't very fun either! So I called Lyn to see if she still wanted to go with us to the zoo on Wednesday & she said she couldn't since she got tonsilitis. So we left home @ 11 Am & got there after 1 1/2 hr. of driving & I was amazed by how many people was there on that day.!!! seriously it was Wednesday & there' s a lot of kids with their parents or with their grandparents. I was wondering how many people how many people had their days off or how many people took a day off!! LOL.
The HENRY DOORLY ZOO was located beside that baseball stadium where the NCAA Baseball Championship held every year. I don't really care about baseball too much so I haven't been there. but here's the not so nice pic of it!
first we stopped by & checked out this KUGEL BALL it's actually a 18,000 lbs. perfectly round sphere of highly polished with South African granite. The outlines of the earth's continent, major bodies of water & waterways are hand engraved on it's surfaced it's actually pretty neat. then we went to DESSERT DOME. .. the Dome is magnificent & they also provide some helpful books for you to read . check these ones...

After that we went to KINGDOMS OF THE NIGHT & it was pretty neat the 2nd pic actually is a glow in the dark exhibit but of course the flash in my camera gave in light to that particular one. so the coolness of that exhibit didn't really show .

and then we went to HUBBARD GORILLA VALLEY I'm telling you I didn't get any pictures of my relatives since I left the camera on all the time & the battery went dead! i had to stopped & charged it using the Zoo's plugs LOL! I didn't charged it all the wayI coz he didn't want to just sit in there for 90 mins. to charged it all the way! i was so very dissapointed but then again I was the only one to blame!!!

After this, took a rest & got us a frozen lemonade &we then went to Lied Jungle & here you can find a very cool & refreshing Rainforest you can enjoy exploring the Lied Jungle on the floor or in the canopy. I found some plants that I saw in the Philippines. they also have a Philippine crocodile and probably the rainforest was my favorite in this zoo.

then we went to WILD KINGDOM PAVILION last, we supposed to go at this place first but we decided to see the DESERT DOME first but we didn't really missed anything @ the WILD KINGDOM. they got cool stuff but not that cool! THIS IS THE LAST PICTURE SINCE MY BATTERY DIED COMPLETELY!!! WAHHH!!!
We had fun @the zoo and I fell asleep on the way back to Lincoln and we stopped by @ Home Depot & my hubby bought a saw. we then went & got us some mexican foods and went home. We watched the Piston saving their team for game 6 & I'm glad they won. Yesterday, we were outside cleaning... I cleaned the inside & washed the car.! He should charged me $50 bucks for how clean it is!!! LOL anyway so then I cooked some Red Beans & Rice & Polish Sausage and some veggies for lunch and went back working outside then I cooked some Ribs, cabbage,baked beans & mashed potato for dinner & watched my Mavericks won the game!!! they should !! they lost their last game on Tuesday w/the Suns. Ugh! but hopefully my Mavericks will win the Western conference finals & will play at the championship!! that would be cool! Dirk scored 50 points! Now it's 3-2 and the game is getting intense!!! GOO MAvs!!!

These past few days were so busy.. yet fun:) last Tuesday, me & my hubby went back to fix our walkway , we finished clearing the last two steps... thank God!( )

After that, we laid the Weedblock we bought from Home Depot and start on putting back the bricks. but of course it wasn't really easy.. it just look easy esp. when your not the one whose doing it. lOL

I should say this, that I got lazy and let my hubby finished them all :( ( I was really tired:()it was so nice of him letting me relaxed while he does all the working.

But then, as usual there's always something,,.. it's not completely done yet since we still have to fill the gaps on the sides! we just have to figure out what we will pour on the sides, we were thinking about dirt, peebles or sand. but I guess we have to find out next week.:) here's some more pics we're taken that day!

Thursday morning, me, Lyn and my kids were watching "Bituin walang Ningning" I'm telling you, I only watched 2 episode and I am hooked to it!!! It's been a long time since I watched filipino telenovelas!!and it's pretty addictive.Aftethat we cooked our breakfast... we had some rice ( of course LOL) danggit na buwad, left over milkfish, fried egg, longganiza, hot chocolate and Halo-halo??? again???

and we took off going back to our house and of course doing yard works again!!! My hubby mowed the lawn and I helped picking up weeds. by 4 we went to the park and let my kids run around and we went to

( it's for our breakfast, since my oven broke!!! I had no idea why.. this time,, I had nothing to do with it!!!)

after we got something for dinner, we watched the movie"ChEaPeR bY tHe DoZeN 2"it was a pretty funny movie.

And today, I don't really have to do any yard work since my hubby is at work! LOl I just have to concentrate on doing household chores..( i have no idea which is worst!! yard work or doing dishes and stuff..)I guess it would be weird for him to go back to work doing 12 hr. shifts for 3 days since he is getting used to not working for 4 days!!!

I didn't saw my Mavs game last Wednesday probably that's y they lost! (ngeee)I saw it on sportscenter wahhh!!! but it's okay it's only 1st game but still, they were up 9 points and let the Suns win???? huh!!!!they better do good on tonights game!!!!LOL well, the Pistons lost their 1st game but won their 2nd game last night!I actually watched their game last night( after I watched the movie, the game was still on) .. Congrats maam Carlotzzz and well,I watched a bit of American Idols finale last wednesday, I know Taylor Hicks won.. not that anybody cares but yehey he won!! just to let you know...and I missed my LOST!!!what the....Mudda.... I have to watch it on ABC and so as the Desperate Housewives!! I have to keep up with all these shows!god!!! I became a couch potato!!tonight's my Mavs game.... GOOOOO MAVSSS!!@!!

Today was a pretty hectic day for us! I got up pretty late and ended up eating yakisoba noodles, fried egg, fried hotdog ,rice & chicken soup for lunch!!!! LOL ( wasn't hard for me to eat it!!! LOL I'm used to these kind of foods!! LOL But my family doesn't or shall I say my hubby doesn't but he ate it anyways LOL) after that I let him watched my soap opera with me.. isn't he just sweet?? LOL i know, I know I'm cruel... LOL after that we went outside and decided to clean our side yard( it's actually the walkway beside our house ) man, it does needed soem cleaning since it looks like a jungle no kidding.. just see...

So we grabbed some tools and I used the shovel to loosen the tiles and my husband pulled everything out on the way, we decided to just pull everything from flowers to weeds.. (we would like to start from scratch you know... ) and it was a pain in the butt and it was hot as hell!!!

( I have no idea how hot hell exactly is... but just an expression... just to let u know LOLjust kidding!!)

Finally we cleared up the first one and also cleared up some weeds underneath the tiles and man those tiles are pretty big!!! we always stopped for water break and just cool off a bit! it was HOT!!!

So we cleaned the second one fairly easy but the 3rd one was a bit bigger than all of them and it got hotter and our backs were hurting!!!( talking about getting old early!!!) it was so hot and we got so tired .. man , of course I got tired it reminded me when I was a kid you know and when we had some home projects and everybody just had to work even little kids and it was bad since you cannot take a break frequently and if you do somebody will be yapping in your face and call you lazy!!! at least the illegal immigrants who work these hard labors got paid!!!! I didn't when I was a kid!! ugh!

( well, some filipinos who actually know what I'm talking about understand these kind of things.. LOL )

and that's why people I got lazy!!! it's kinda nice when you have nobody telling you what to do you know! LOL

After the 3rd one we decided to just called it off and have to finished tomorrow and we have tog o to Home Depot to buy us something to lay it on the ground before we put all the tile bricks again. so we will finish 2 more and lay that thing we're about to buy tomorrow and then we will be focusing on the sides plant new stuff I guess. we got cleaned up and decided to get us some pizza .. I was hungry!!! LOL and of course it was time for me to watch my Mavericks play!!!:) yehey!!! and ohh congrats Maam Carlotzz since your Pistons won!

And now is the best part,,, LOL the game between Spurs and Mavericks are tight.. they were 3-3 and this is the last game and I am just so happy coz my Mavs was up to 20 points and then of course went down when the spurs got fired up! I mean, it became a close game!! I'm telling you I was yelling and jumping!!!! my throat is actually hurting because I was cheering like crazy!!! and everytime my husband will say something bad about my Dirk!! I just smack his back... where he got a sunburn!!! LOL I thought that the Spurs will win the game since Ginobili shoot a 3 point!!! man!!! I was so mad!! (it's amazing how you get so involved LOL)and finally they had the chance to tie the game!! I was so relieved!! I'm telling you!!! I'm so lucky that i have my little maldita cheering with me:)isn't she adorable?

I was so happy when my Mavs got some points!! and very much happy when they actually won the game!!!! both teams are great but I was rooting for my Mavericks coz I wanted them to win BADLY!!!! I do Love this game so much esp. when my teams wins LOL (duh!)it was so fun to see my mavs going to the conference final :) and hopefully they will be in the championship:) GOOOO MAVSSS!!!Mwah!!

I got up pretty late this morning. I didnt' even made some breakfast. I got up @ 10 , packed some lunch for my husband and sat on my computer!!! DOK!!!! DOK!!!! I was yakking about my Mavs losing!!! wahh wahh wahhh:((
So much for that!!! I was talking with my friend Lyn/ liza (whichever u prefer!) we're just planning for Wednesday since we are going to visit her and we're just talking about what food are we going to make cha..cha.... we both are yapping and haven't had anything to eat.. so we said our goodbyes.. yadiya and I went to my kitchen and checked my manok

and I started making lunch! I had this mixed seasfood in a packaged and it consists of squid, crab, mussels & cattlefish!

I had no idea how to cook it so I just grabbed some chow mein noodles and started boiling it and I sauteed some onions, garlic and the seafood mix and add the chow mein noodles and put on some cabbage, carrots, ginger and pepper. I have no teriyaki sauce so I started looking for something sweet and fruity and something salty mixed it together and huh!!! I got me some teriyaki sauce :D and look what I have....

I had fun last Wednesday, well, I should say my family and I had fun last wednesday, let's just call it "My new Weekend" since Wednesdays & Thursdays are his new days off. We actually got up pretty late like 11 a.m and we went to BK for our lunch... Can you believe how big is the Texas Whopper????talking about how many cal. added!! as if it's not fattening enough!. anyway after that we decided to go to the nearest park and we played basketball a bit.. until we got really hot!!! Ohhh... that was a very hot day !!! we decided to go back home and grab some extra diaper for my maldita since we decided to go to another park.. just look how red their checks are!!

The Pioneers Nature Park has 400 acres wildlife sanctuary & with over 8 miles of hiking trails!!( there you go u can walk as long as you like without actually getting bored!)

The Prairie Building includes an education wing with prairie and live animal exhibits... and also they have a Nature Preschool for 3-5 yrs.old kids.

The place is really amazing!! it seems like it's a little zoo but free!( well of course they accept donations which is not very hard to give!) considering the place is just wonderful! although that time there's not a lot of people( duh it's weekdays??!!)
it kinda gave me the fright!(the what????) it's so secluded that it reminds me of the movie The Blair Bitch Project( oooppsss Witch I meant!) seriously!!!

So anyway long long day and was very hot But at least there's some nice wind blowing... and we decided to have some cold treats so we stopped by at the cute little store C&L Dairy Sweets Yummy!!! which is right before the Park. (talking about good location!!)
