my drama!

Christmas is on the air!!!& time to start saving for some extra $$ for presents!!!!I have been itching to put up my Christmas tree soI finally did last Saturday!My hubby didn't really want to put it up after thanksgiving ..and I have no idea why!!!he just don't feel like it!!
My kids were helping me putting it up & decorating it!! My hubby gave them a warning that Mommy will become the female Scrooge when I get busy /skrudʒ/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation!!!And yes it's true for some reason I get aggravated maybe no nagmemenopause na ko!!!! i have no idea why!!! I get so excited on putting them up but as soon as I get busy I get grouchy!!! duh!!! talagang matanda na si LOla!!!! I did let my kids put on some ornaments on the tree talagang masaya rin pag tulong 2x
lahat diba??? My hubby chose to do something else & that is cleaning!!! yehey!!! lucky me!!! he was cleaning almost every room!!! o diba talagang lucky ako no?? meron hubby na tumutulong!!




after that, the kids wanted pizza to eat so we took them to Cici's Pizza..sulit talaga ang binayad namin! usually we don't like going to buffet's dahil nga minsan we're not that hungry to go on buffet's!!!! dapat para sulit u should be starving!!!! hahaha!!!
after that we went to get Shaun & Elena a new Christmas stocking since this will be Shaun's 1st time to have his own Christmas stocking & we have to replace Elena's old stocking since the other says "Baby's 1st Christmas" obviously this will be here 2nd!!Ethan went to get his haircut & we didn't really bought some groceries since we don't really like crowded places!!!that's saturdays on any grocery store to you!!!! I like grocery shopping on Weekdays
since some people goes to school or at work!! not too crowded!!!we then went to Hyde Observatory in Holmes Park malapit lang sa amin. we been wanting to go to this place but malilimutan all the time so we finally went! it was like 7 pm & it was pretty scary since hello ....it gets dark early na no!!! & no one's wandering @ the park & it was pretty long ways to get to the actual building!
we finally found the place & it looks like an old church on tv the one na nakaka scary !!! & there were no light outside but just a little bitty light for the announcement box!!!
anyway, when we got inside, it didn't feel any better since the room you get in reminds me of the funeral home lobby!!! empty, silent & there's the weird guestbook
stand on the corner!!!!!


but some one came & welcome us & showed us the place there's probably 4 people in there & they are all in their astronomy club/observatory volunteers.
They told us that we couldn't use the telescopes since they didn't open the roof for viewing & they locked the doors for upstairs for skyline viewing!we've been wanting to get into this place & now we did we can't even see what we wanted to see!!!go figure!
Anyway, we watched a short movie about astronomy!!! they show us how NASA prepared & tested their materials before they actually go way up there!hello
who wouldn't?? but it was pretty neat learning all this stuff!







After that more people came & there's this one man he is probably on his 70's a volunteer in that place was so kind to us! he showed us how to tell the
skies on November, showed us the solar powered q&A thingy..i have no idea what it's called but u use solar power to guess the answer for a question!!!
whatever!!! just continue reading!!!he also gave us the sky calendar & the coolest thing he showed us.. was the PINHOLE Philosophy!!!! maybe some of u
smart ones know about this already, but I'm not that smart so bear with me!!! anyway he took my glasses & he practically know that i am nearsighted by him
looking @ my lenses he told me that i don't really need to wear the glasses when I am reading something that is not too far away! like reading a book or
when I am using my computer! I told him that i can actually see better without my glasses on when doing the things I just mention..if u were paying
attention!!!-----> anyway, he told me I am just making my self more blind bec. i kept using it even though i don't need it!!! it's like I am pushing
myself too much on something that is not necessarry./// hmmm I guess this is old news for me!!! lol



anyway he showed me this pin hole thingy... he let me stand farther that the board where the objects are blurry & he let me put my left pointer up to my
nose & touched it with the edge of my right thumb & the edge of my right pointer---> & it kinda look like a "P" and u have to look inside the small
hole & believe it u can actually see clearly!!!!! it's pretty weird!the old man was so smart!!!
we left the place & planning to come back next time when the sky is clear!!! so I can see something up there!!!

Sunday... we didn't do much except clean the garage a bit! Rocky took the boys to the Library & I took my little girl to the Mall.she already saw what
she's getting for Christmas well, one of the stuff she's getting at least!It's not like she's going to remember it!!! & kids her age doesn't even
care about the presents they get!!!! they actually give more attention to the box rather than what's inside!!!

we rode the merry-go-round, i let her ran around the play area! she had fun even for just 2 hours!







When we got home we all went to get us some
Mexican foods & the lady in the store upgraded our rolled taco orders!!!! instead of 3 rolled tacos she gave us 5 so we have 10 altogether
we usually get 2 order of rolled tacos!!!yummy! she always give us free stuff & sometimes discounts!!! lol we are her loyal customers!!! we've been
coming to her store once or twice each week for the last 4 yrs!!!!she had one store back then now she have 3 in different areas here in Lincoln!& every time
she has new specials or menu she always let us try one for free!!! LOL! cool huh???
anyway we watched 2 movies "Rumors has it" & "Nightmares & Dreamscapes "Rumors has it was okay!!much! but certainly not on my "want to buy list"
Nightmares & Dremascapes "was like a twilight Zone mini movies... not too crappy i guess!

Today is Monday but no school for my boys since it's the"teacher's planning day"So my regular routine will resume VERY EARLY tomorrow!!!well, i have
to get a excuse slip for Shaun since he wont be going to school tomorrow but he will be going to his dentist @ 9 & I don't think he will go to
school afterwards! well, well, well i should be going since i have tons of loads to wash... u take care people & enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Hello!!! yesterday was pretty fun!! although we didn't celebrate Thanksgiving @ home but it was a very good Thanksgiving!!
this is the first time we went somewhere else to celebrate Thanksgiving! We went to our friend's place @ Pleasant Dale NE.
it's about 30 Mins. away from Lincoln the town is only consist of 245 pop.!!!!!!!! this is officially the smallest town i have
ever been!!! but.....Pleasant Dale is a pleasant place indeed!!!!!! The food was very delicious!!!! they had Turkey, mashed potatoes,
sweet potato casserole, green beans casserole! & we brought rolls, pies, mac & cheese, deviled eggs, pasta salad & baked beans!
Raquel gave me the recipe for the sweet potato casserole!! I will definitely try this recipe!!!
after that we went to the park near their house & we let the kids run around & we also threw some balls! we went to the trail..Bailey was our guide:)
& went back to their place!
I like their town coz they know all the people around them & it's just so nice..
Thanksgiving might be only one day but we are so thankful for all the blessings that we received everyday! we are so thankful for our friends and families

of course our friend The Sweeney's are wonderful people & we are blessed to have them as our friends! Thank you for the wonderful time!

well, I guess some of you heard about Michael Richards' big racial act!!! I heard it on the news & just wanted to see it for myself. And I do agree to some comments, that Richards did went too far on this one & I don't know what he was thinking but he should know that the "N" word is such a sensitive words for some people. maybe he thought his material was funny but not too funny for anybody else! Hello, I got my new camera last Thursday!!! i got the same brand but the latest version of what i had last May! oh yeah when we were @ best buy I was shocked how many GEEKS here in Lincoln camping out for the new PS3!!!! seriously!!! it's cold as hell & yet they were camping out for it!! They said that they would be giving tickets as early as 7 Am the following day so they were camping out last Thursday!!! haha!!! :)
Last Friday, we ate our lunch @ the school w/my husband, my sons & daughter. There was a lot of parents who spend time eating lunch w/their kids!! & guess what?? I have no idea that school lunch taste like cardboard 'til last Friday!!!I don't think they put anything on it!!!seriously!!!! but..... they said it's supposed to be nutritious for the kids.... ..whatever!!!
anyway, after lunch, I drove my friend Shirley to a local grocery store so she can send some $$ to the Philippines last Friday & we watched "Mano Po 2" we didn't really finish (well, I did she didn't!!!) the movie since we ran out of time!! we were late picking up my son & her son @ school!!!! LOL!!!!! we were so busy watching movie & forgot about the time!! (some kind of mothers!!!) tomorrow we have to go to my son's (Ethan) to his classroom for a dessert party!!! I think I will bring some muffins (AGAIN!!)for tomorrow!!! I don't know what's up with me & making MUFFINS!!!!! but I do like making some!!& tomorrow I will take my son Shaun to his dentist & have them pull his teeth!!! ohhhh that's gotta hurt!!!!
Saturday night we watched "Hollow Man" 2 it was Okay! Christian Slater starred in this sequel & lat night we watched "The Fast & The Furious 3 Tokyo Drift"I like this movie than the 2nd one! & surprisingly cutie "Vin Diesel" appeared on the last minute!!! but he was damn cute!!!so maybe there will be another one for his comeback..well hello ....he starred the first one!! He is so much hotter than Paul Walker!!!
And!!!! I still don't have any idea where are we going to celebrate Thanksgiving... I still didn't consult Raquel about whose going to whose house.. blahh blahhh...I shoudl call her HUH!!!
oh yeah by the way... I watched the show "DESPERATE CROSSING: THE UNTOLD STORY OF THE MAYFLOWER" last night on History Channel ( yes!I do watch educational shows too!!!..)while I was making Shaun's project "Me Collage" ..anyway, it was a pretty amazing story.... u should watch it..I'm sure there will be reruns!!!!anyway check this one out!

So anyway, nothing much happened for the last 2 weeks!!! except I busted my rear light!!!!!! for some reason it made me sad!!! it's nobody's fault but my husband's work bench in my garage!!!!! I backed up to parked it and the stupid work bench hit it!!!!!!!!!!:)) so not my fault!!!!:))
anyway, I called best-buy about my camera!!! and this guy told me that might have to change my camera for a new & better one! Yehey!!! he told me that he will call right back... but..................... he didn't so I called back and he said oh,, I had someone to call you but anyway, he told me that the best-buy & the camera company are negotiating whose going to replace my camera!!! for some reason I really wanted to laugh aloud!! in my mind they are debating on whose going to replace the camera!!! he said that if the best buy will call then they will be the one who will replace my camera and if the other one will well, we know how it goes.... I am wondering what if no one will call??? :))
anyway, I asked him what will happen to a service plan that we purchased when we bought my cam last May and he said that we need to buy a new service that is if we wanted one..( of course duh!!) the existing plan will be voided. huh I forgot to asked them if they will replace it to a "newer & better" one will we be paying extra for that!! and I don't have any plan to pay anything!!! the stupid camera was brand-new supposed to be titanium!!!!!!!! but what the hell!!!

On my son's school they have a theme for this week... Monday, they wore crazy hats to school,
yesterday, they had to wear something with red,white, blue on it!, today, they had wacky hairdo/clothing day!there was this one girl at school whose wacky all over!!! she had her hair dyed, weird clothing, mismatch neon colored socks!!! , tomorrow they will wear something what they wanna be when they grow up!!! Shaun will be wearing my hubby's uniform & Ethan will be wearing a basketball player outfit And on Friday they will be wearing their PJ's!!
yesterday was their Skating Night too! Ethan & Shaun are learning fast couple of times more going to the skating rink they will be skating good!
Last Monday, we returned Ethan's project, we decorated one "supposed to be turkey feather( made w/ solid paper) we decorated it with cotton & glitters!!!( I wish I have my camera!!!! dang it!!! they better figure out whose replacing me one!!!! ) Shaun will have his project"Me Collage" return on the 21st I printed some pictures from the computer to stick it on his paper.. And also Friday we will be eating with Shaun @ School there's going to be lots of parents w/ their kids..
Ethan is planning to help me make some muffins for his class before Thanksgiving break. Oh by the way,,,, speaking of Thanksgiving.. we still have no idea where were going... Usually we celebrate @ home this year I have no idea!!! I talked to Raquel about it & she was thinking we are going to their house or vice-versa!!! we couldn't figure out but we should since Thanksgiving day is coming & turkeys will be gone fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (U think??) I am so overwhelmed with this cold weather!!!it's not like it's my first time but man!!! I cannot thaw anything without defrosting it in the microwave!!!!!!!!!!!! the Cornish hens that I thawed since 6:30 this morning?? Still rock solid!!!!and it's 12 @ noon already!!!!!!!this weather makes me crazy... I hate COLD WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!
anyway, I got to go & do nothing!!! i will keep u up 2 date .take care mwah!!!!

i got my computer yesterday!!! they said that they run testing & couldn't find anything so they didn't really fix anything!!!! a while ago my stupid laptop acted up again!!! UGH!!! and I also called about my digital camera & they told me that the service center fixed it & I should receive it on Monday.. ugh so much crap happening!!!

anyway, I made some muffin for my dear friend Carlota:)) happy birthday guapa!! And on my b-day, we went to Bennigan's & I had the seafood platter which consists of a fillet of grilled salmon, a skewer of Shrimp & 2 crab cakes!!!! i also enjoyed a yummy frozen margarita!!! :)
what else??? on halloween, we only had 5 trick or treaters!!! boring!!!

tomorrow I will have lunch with my friend Shirley, nothing much but just regular filipino foods..
yesterday was a pretty nice day 75* it felt like JUNE! we went to the park & I also tried the recipe "Bruchetta Stuffed Chicken" I thought it was pretty good( i had to say it was pretty good just to boost my ego!!! LOL) i guess thats' about it.. I ahve nothing much to say coz nothing's been going on that's exciting u know!!!! I still have to make dinner & clean up a bit.. so taa taa!!! mwah!
