it has been a long time since I made my own baked chicken.Anyway as you noticed I didn;t have all the step by step pictures because i was talking on the phone while making it hahahaha!so i forgot to take pix. anyway here’s the recipe:)
Ingredients:
1 whole chicken
12 stalks of green onions, ends cut, and chopped into 1/4″ long
6 garlic bulbs, peeled
3 lemon or orange slices
2 tbsps. thyme
2 tbsps. marjoram
2 tbsps. parsley
2 tbsps. salt
2 tbsps. black pepper
2 tbsps. crushed red pepper
MSG (optional)
2 tbsps. lemon juice
1/4 cup butter melted
Procedure:
1. Clean chicken by taking the insides and rinsing thoroughly.
2. Place in a roast pan or broiler pan. (I used Broiler so it won’t get soaked by it’s juice) or you
can also use the rotisserie just follow your manufacturer’s direction.
3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine thyme, marjoram, parsley, salt, black pepper, red pepper,
and MSG.
4. Rub thyme mixture all over the chicken and put some the insides too.
5. Stuff chicken with green onions, garlics, lemon or orange slices.
6. On a small bowl, combine melted butter and lemon juice.
7. Baste chicken with the melted butter and lemon juice mixture.
8. Bake for 1 hour @ 350*F.

9. After an hour, check the chicken’s temp and baste with more of the melted butter and lemon
juice mixture.
10.Bake for another hour or until temperature reached to 180* or more.
11. Carve and serve.
Serve with the side dish Asparagus
Enjoy!
