I have said this a bunch of times but I never did do anything. But this year is decided! I will be filing my citizenship. My husband kept telling to get the paper-works done so we can send it in but I am just too lazy when it comes to sending stuff in mail. I really have to do this though coz aside from the rising fee, my Philippine passport is about to expire and according to the Philippine Consulate in Chicago site that “Personal Appearance is Required” whether you are renewing or applying and I think it’s about time for me. My husband and kids are American Citizen and I want to be one also. I have been living here for so long, I love this country and I just think it’s about time to do so.

About the decision was made by the Philippine Embassy/Consulate.I don’t know why they concluded  this decision as if ,it’s easy to just travel over there right away. They never consider that the people who are living outside Illinois has to take a day off (to those who are working), has to pay hotel, airline and other fee that shouldn’t have just to renew their passports. I think the mail in application was very convenient.. granted it’s still in the Midwest, but Illinois is very far …Also, you have to wait for 6 weeks to receive your passport for they have to send it to DFA Manila with their new Machine Readable Passports. Not to mention their hours of operation is still weird. They are still closing on lunch time!. Many Filipinos are still questioning about this decision.

Wednesday afternoon I got my Wii Fit while I was out to get some dinner. I was very happy upon seeing it arrived so fast! I have been wanting this for sometime now but it’s always sold out . You can find some in eBay and other store but I don’t want to pay more only for just a board. We got this bundle cheaper than buying it individually.

I like the training in the software that comes with it. You can choose from aerobics, yoga, strength training & balance games. I have a hard time doing the tree pose! I am so uncoordinated I don’t even want to talk about it!

I just think Wii is the best game console ever! You can have fun and at the same time move your body around instead of just sitting in there like a blob. I am making a point to get on wii fit everyday. I have  a impossible weight goal but I will try my best to at least reach half of it!
