Rainy Spring
Posted by admin | Filed under writing
It’s the mid of May and it’s still pretty chilly and watery. Don’t get me wrong I don’t really complain about this kind of weather coz I will prefer rain than snow anytime of any day! I can definitely survive living in Seattle for they say it rains 365 days a year… Well, I don’t know how accurate that was but whatever!
I do like the rain, staying at home sipping hot cocoa, eating hot stew, cuddling with love one’s while listening to nice melody or while watching movies. I can definitely imagine myself living in a small cottage where it’s peaceful and quiet and all I can hear are the sounds of nature like rain pitter-pattering on the ground and on the roof:)

I am on the same boat as you: I’d rather it be raining than snowing. I am not looking forward to summer. For some reason, East Coast summers are so humid and hot! And I’d rather have rain during the summer too, just to get the temps to go down.
It always feels good to sleep in because of the rain *sigh*

@anne, Oh I know! I hate really hot summers too! My skin always breaks out when it’s too hot and too cold:(
Rainy days was always my favorite even when I was younger! believed it or not I was always a happy camper during Typhoon season in the Philippines. I liked the sound of strong wind gusting and rain splattering all over. However I didn’t like the roof flying! lol.

@admin, I’m the opposite in that I break out when it’s dry so it’s really bad over the winter
