Not Thursday

Today is Wednesday not Thursday! For some reason I was thinking that today is Thursday! Probably I like to rush the days of this week because Thursday is my kids’ last day of school and I would love to sleep longer tomorrow morning!

Unfortunately we are not going to a vacation. Bummer I know I was thinking about our last years vacation to Tennessee and Florida and how fun it was. People who live in the neighborhood near the lakes and the beaches like Wilmington NC real estate are so lucky coz they got that vacation feeling all year long coz the bay are just right along their houses.

I am looking at the brighter side though, with us staying all summer long ; we can fix somethings in our house. We bought some paints last Sunday for our dining room and my husband bought some baseboards to finish the updating in our dining area.  Also I could not believed  how many junk we have until I cleaned our closet  in searching for items to go on our upcoming garage sale. I am trying to kick my pack-rat habit and I finally took my old clothes out in my closet and into the garage!

Welcome back!!! And you totally deserve the award! I just wish the person designed it better! It looks like 1995! :P

Anyhoo, I LOVE hump day because once you get over that hump, you know that the weekend is SOOO close! Yay for hump day! :D

For some reason we forget the days sometimes, especially if we are looking forward so much to the day or days ahead.

Oh so bad to miss a vacation ha. Since when did you last went back to Philippines ba?

Congratulations for that interesting blog award. What I can say is, those people living there, I think they also don’t enjoy that much as for them is the same environment. That’s my feeling, as it feels better to be somewhere else from time to time, but home.

@I Love Phils Too, I always forget the day and even the year sometimes .. I am so lost in time hu..hu…

I do miss going on a vacation hopefully next year we are going somewhere na.. ako 20006 last vacation ko sa Pinas and we were stranded in manial pa kasi maraming bagyo nong taym na yun.. hahay. next time though didiretso nakami sa Cebu.. I wonder nga lang kung kailan …

True that! it’s so different here .. even though that I am semi-immune to their way of living, I still caught myself into surprise about the difference. But what can I say.. It’s my home now so i just need to make the best out of it:)

Congrats on the award. I hope you have a nice summer. Maybe you can go somewhere local for some fun things to do. We are not really going anywhere either, we like to go camping, so we do that places in our state.

@Sue, Yes we are thinking about doing that. There’s not a lot of things to do here but we can always make the best out of summer:)
