I am quite happy that my kids are off from school because of President’s day and I will have extra time in the computer. I checked my e-mails, looked at friends pictures, visited their sites, read news and even read about testosterone booster online. During regular days, I rarely log online because I have been very busy moving things out of my basement because we are going to move my bedroom down there in March, the kids will have the entire upstairs then. We have been talking about this for years and it’s finally coming true. We will move once my new bed and mattress arrives. We are going to have our chimney swept too so we will have some extra warmth coming from the fireplace downstairs. I can’t believed how much stuff we have in our downstairs closet, I thought we all gave away the stuff we didn’t need but obviously there’s more to toss. I wish I can just send this stuff to my relatives but it cost too much to send these stuff. Next week I will have to call our trash service so they can pick up our old couch , I don’t think they will pick it up during regular pick-ups. So many things to do ~

Monday Ponder
Belated Happy Valentine’s day and Happy President’s day everyone. I had a good Valentine’s day even though we didn’t go out last night. We did have our Valentine dinner days ahead because I don’t like waiting for tables in busy restaurants. Anyway it’s snowing again in my place and funny thing was Saturday I didn’t even knew that it’s been snowing until my friend told me and I was awake earlier that day but never bother looking out of the window. I felt stupid lol!
Anyway, we really need to get new windows because the ones we have is not really good. You have to turn the crank to open it and I don’t think it helped our insulation because you can feel the cold air from it. We’ve done our own energy auditing and we have too many windows that is not helping with cold air staying outside. Also we need a new door that would not bring cold air inside from it’s bottom. These things need to be replaced so at least we will saved some money and it will help us with saving energy. I really wish that winter will bid goodbye sooner!

Messy
I really want a whole week of being alone so I can clean the whole house! With my daily routine of dropping and picking my kids to and from school left me so little time to do everything at home. I feel like I am a cleaning lady with no salary. Seriously, I was in my daughter’s room yesterday and you won’t believe how much mess she made. I had to used a tong to reached some stuff that were under her headboard and beside her bed , oh her bed was very heavy and I couldn’t lift the whole thing. Now I am going to do the rest of the house but I doubt if I will ever finish it today maybe this weekend I will just focus on cleaning instead of Farming in Facebook lol.
Last night I was talking to my cousin and it has been a very, very long time since I talked to him and it really made me miss Cebu so much! I just missed hanging out with my neighbors, friends , cousins and families. I also talked to my other other cousin whose in Canada and her connection kept dropping and it really was annoying!She said she needed Bell internet to keep her going. Maybe she just need some Energizer juice lol . Oh yeah before I forget, Wear red tomorrow for the Awareness of the Heart Disease! I heard that Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in women in the US and that is very scary especially for women who are overweight like me!! Anyway Ta..ta..

Up to 40′s
Today was a pretty nice day. The weather was perfect a little chill but not freezing and there was sunshine today. I would like to see the winter bid goodbye because we are very eager to see spring. I miss going out to the park, have a picnic or even take a hike and catch every moment with our camcorder handy. Our winter was bad this year but I am hoping even with a prediction of another 6 weeks of winter, the temperature will stay on 40′s and never again to negatives.
Can you believed that it is February already? Time flies fast and it’s that time for me to bring my kids to buy them their Valentine goodies for their classroom. I will also have to look for a Valentine gift for my husband and I have no idea what to give him this year. I have 10 days to think about what to give. Anyway gotta keep going and remember to keep warm:D
