Almost There

Can you believe that next Sunday is Christmas Day? Are you done with your shopping yet? As for me, I still have couple of things to buy like those cute thick warm tights for my daughter, a cologne for my teenage son ( I still can’t get over I have a teenager already!), a coat for my younger son and some useful tools for my husband. I don’t know if I should give him tools because that somewhat reminds him of doing chores and I read somewhere that any gifts that reminds of chores is not really good! So I am rethinking my gift giving ideas.
I like giving something that we like to use especially during special occasion like jewelry and perfumes. My teenage son love gifts like that something he can use when he goes out to movies with some friends, or going to recitals and concerts and especially when he goes out with a special friend! Now that he is growing up, he is more concern on what he looks and what he smells. We have been there and done that, so it shouldn’t be a gift to miss because colognes and perfumes are a part of good personal hygiene no matter what age you are.
I just hope that snow will have to wait til Christmas day because I still have a lot of things to do and places to go. I also need to get my grocery shopping done for Christmas dinner!

I don’t want Christmas to come yet. Hahaha. I am really holding on to this year as much as I can. I’m not ready to face 2012 yet, though I hope that it starts out great!
Maybe you can get your husband a gadget, like an ereader or something like that. Does he like those kinds of things?
I’ve finished shopping as well. I’m sure everyone will love your presents. I hope people like mine as well

@anne, Christmas in the US is not as spirited like in the Philippines neither as the New Year but I celebrate these holidays wonderfully with my family.
No, my husband is not a gadget person.. not even a reader. The only books he read are those from school that he had to read and books from work that he needs to read. lol.
It is so hard to hide presents for my kids but I know they will love it! Happy holidays ! ^-^
