@Anne, Hello, Christmas day was great! We didn’t go anywhere nor invited anyone just the 5 of us ^-^. The kids loved their presents.. they got each a laptop from us, lots of great stuff from aunts, uncles and grandparents. They also got a puppy from Santa! they actually said that it was the best Christmas so far!!! How was yours?

I love couscous.. the rest of my brood didn’t care about it but I love it! Try and see if you like it. There’s a plain one and there are other flavors too.

I do want them to experience Christmas in the Philippines however I need to save lots of $$ before even going because it’s going to be costly and I am not talking about the airfare but just by being there surrounded by tons of relatives during the Holidays lol. But I will bring them to the Philippines someday.

You’re right about holidays in the Philippines being very different from holidays here. It’s more fun there, I think. Maybe you can take your family there one year for the holidays so they can get in on the fun!

@anne, Christmas in the US is not as spirited like in the Philippines neither as the New Year but I celebrate these holidays wonderfully with my family.

No, my husband is not a gadget person.. not even a reader. The only books he read are those from school that he had to read and books from work that he needs to read. lol.

It is so hard to hide presents for my kids but I know they will love it! Happy holidays ! ^-^

I don’t want Christmas to come yet. Hahaha. I am really holding on to this year as much as I can. I’m not ready to face 2012 yet, though I hope that it starts out great!

Maybe you can get your husband a gadget, like an ereader or something like that. Does he like those kinds of things?
