Summer time is just not over yet! So enjoy the outdoor more! I enjoy grilling and just sitting outside and watch my kids play! Happy Weekend! Hi guys how was your day?? Mine was a little bit exhausted! well, it's not like I did something very stressful but stressful enough for me I guess! Last Thursday, I went to my class & my teacher gave me a test book along with my answer sheet. There was 55 questions in one book and 20 question from another test book that is all about excerpts,poem & short novel. And it took me an hour 1/2 to answer all of them. You know, as I was reading the poems last night, I realized how much I USED to love reading excerpts and poems!I wonder what made me forget all of that! I was glad when I only got 6 wrong in the 55 questioner test book and 1 wrong from the excerpt book. They told me that I can take my Language Reading Test whenever I want.:) They told me that I don't have to take the 7 1/2 hours test! I can actually do 1 at a time! so I was glad to hear about that!

Today, I woke up late and I talked to Carlota for about an hour I guess and got ready to go and bugged my hubby at work before going to my school. So while we were driving, My kids who just want the windows down so badly, almost ruined my day! As soon as I turned the windows down, My test slip flew out from my window!!! In my shock, I turned my car right away and started looking for my paper! I was yelling and speaking bisaya (when cursing)lol! oh I was looking for probably half an hour for that stupid paper! I finally parked my car somewhere and started walking and looking & picking from the ground like a retarded bum!I never found it! of course it was on the road u know wind & cars blew it away. I was pissed off! Anyway I went back home and called my school and asked them if I can get another slip but they told me I don't have to have those I just need to go and schedule myself for testing. I asked the coordinator if the paper had my social security number on it! And i was so happy when he said not. He told me it was just my name, my scores, the date and my teacher's signature! I was relieved! hello! SS number is what & who your are! if somebody else get to hold that your doomed! esp. someone crazy! they will start applying for credit cards or purchasing whatever and bamm! your credit is ruin! Then it will be hard for you to get something if you have BAD CREDIT! They can steal your identity using your ss numbers u know!
Anyway, so we went to my hubby's work & we went to my school. And ohh my kids were acting up! I whipped them in front of everybody! You know how embarrassing that is when they are not in their best attitude when your going somewhere?I was not afraid whipping them in front of everybody! hell, that showed them that I don't tolerate that attitude and when we got into the car another whipping lol! and When we got home hubby called that he wanted me to get some food, I was relieved that I didn't have to cook lol I am so lazy sometimes esp. when I don't feel like cooking!So we drove again and got some Mexican foods. When we got home hubby was here already & I told him what happened and he scolded them lol! what a day huh!
Anyway, I went to Blockbuster and I rented THE EXORCIST, GHOST RIDER & THE WITCHES. We watched THE EXORCIST and lol that movie still scare the hell out of me! That movie is just wrong!bad bad bad!for me THE EXORCIST is the one of the best horror movies along with EVIL DEAD hahahha that movie scared the hell out of me too! then the kids wanted to watch the WITCHES so we did. It's actually a good kids movie! I saw that one long time ago. It's about the witches turned the kid into a mouse! lol!
Anyway, that's it for now I am getting tired so i might be going to bed here in a lil while... Enjoy your weekend people! mwah!

I can't believe that I have been married for 5 years:) I am very blessed to have my husband who loves me very much:) he deals with all my crap,my unexplainable mood changing ability and most of all he loves me when I was at my best and when I am at my worst:) he loves me a lot that he even gain extra pounds with me hahaha!!! I guess I ruined his marine body lol:) well, hello......I gain a lot of extra pounds too when we started getting comfortable with the married life :) but I am happy with my married life, we have our arguments but we never have those bad fights.. when we get aggravated with each other we tend to cool it off and settle it before the day is over. Even when I started the argument ( most of the time!!) he ask for apology:) And when I am so irritated by him he still make his way to cool me down and I think I am the same way to him..He even told me one time that even though sometimes I get on his nerve by nagging at him for no apparent reason well, in my defensed...I don't nag without a reason it might not be a big freaking reason but I always got reason!! yet he can't get mad at me or maybe the word he's trying to say is he don't know how to hate me:) probably coz he loves me!!!
Anyway, Yesterday was my State Written & Skill Exam maybe as much as I was yapping about this stuff then, this is not new to u:) but I was so nervous I cleaned my house & I finished the game Chocolatier and win it big time! lol anyway, let me explain, I kept draining the last nerve of my little brain by studying too hard I get paranoid, tense & a bit moody... I play games to make me relax! so I found this game on Yahoo called Chocolatier, it's actually one of those tycoon game:) Anyway, I made my way up from novice to MASTER CHOCOLATIER heheheh I had so much fun although the free trial only last for an hour but you get 5 mins. each time you open it and the good part is, it automatically save your progress:) you should see me trying to play for 5 mins. and suddenly it stops and I have to start it back again eheheh anyway it took me hours but I beat the game baby! then back to studying again!!!!

I went to bed almost 4 in the morning & Elena woke me up telling me she wanted some food to eat!!! so, I gave her some left over chicken and while she was eating in my bed! I read my skill packet again! anyway I fell asleep reading it ! Then at 10:30 in the morning Ethan woke me up telling me that he was hungry! so I had to get my lazy butt off to get him something to eat then guess what I did??? reading my packet again! and I cleaned the house, watched some skill video online! Finally @ 4:30 I took a shower, hubby came home and I got ready for school. I told my hubby "Happy anniversary sweetheart, sorry I didn't bought you anything"!! what a sweet wife huh? well, I didn't get to feel any excitement about my anniversary because I was so worried about not passing my exams!lol anyway I went to school, took my test for an hour. The strict tester told me I passed:) I did have a grin but not enough to make me happy!!!I wasn't worry about the Written test I was worried about not passing my skill.... For some reason I got very cold well, I wasn't alone.. I had 5 other classmates with me waiting for the tester to call our names..( since we had out appointment time )we all felt the chill of nervousness!!! Anyway, some of them went outside and smoke their lungs off to death! and finally 2 of them got called and man... I had to wait for an hour ... I stopped studying and stared praying lol! praying that I can do my skill with the nicer tester hehehhe Anyway,I saw one of my classmate left earlier than the given time length coz she failed.. once you fail one important step they will stop you with your skill and ask you to leave and tell you to retake the test some other time w/ extra fee ! then, that gave us another reason to worry!! so I was about to go next but my other classmate went first which.. by the way I have to thank her for that:) she went to the same strict tester we had on our written test hehehehe I have no idea what happened to her after that since my other classmate was done with her skill telling me I'm going to be fine with the big grin on her face! it means she passed:) I got the nicer tester yehey!!!!! so I was inside feeling more nervous and she asked me to pick one packet... so I touch one packet and since I am a weird person I listened to my instinct to pick the one beside the packet that has my hands on.:) so I followed my instinct hoping that I don't have to do anything that I don't want to do (get it??) guess what I got?? I had to do PARTIAL BATH, ASSIST BEDPAN TO INDEPENDENT PATIENT, AMBULATE W/WALKER, HEIGHT & WEIGHT AND THE DREADFUL BLOOD PRESSURE! I panicked when I saw the last page BLOOD PRESSURE! right then ... all the information was erased totally! she told me she will give me 5 minutes to review my packet, asked whatever question I have in mind.. and guess what I asked first?? I asked her "IF I FAIL, WHERE & WHEN CAN I RETAKE THE TEST & HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?" She just smiled at me & said, "why would you think that you will fail you haven't even started yet?" hey, I just wanted to be ready , I told you I'm pessimist & sometimes I don't really trust myself! which is bad! bad! bad! anyway, so 5 minute's up, she asked me to go with her in the bathroom & show her how to wash my hands properly so I did... we went back to the room & she told me to start doing the partial bath! I'm telling you i was about to do the complete bed bath and she stopped me hahahaha! reminded me that i only have to do face, arm & peri-care.hell! I didn't even get to do peri-care actually, i just have to state since it's a totally different skill & I didn't have it in my packet!..I panicked again.. lol to tell u the truth I started washing the mannequin then I noticed she still has her clothes on hahahhahah so I immediately, told her that after I put her bath blanket on i should have taken the gown off hahhaha so I was saved!! actually they said, if you forget the step but immediately notify them what you did wrong then they will consider it but if you waited til you say your done with that particular skill and you didn't tell them your mistake then you get points ! the more points you get the more they wanna kick you out! so anyway, I did every skill I have of course forgetting here & there but pointed out to them what I forget heehe and then I was done! she asked me to sit down with her .. I was thinking crap she wants me to sit coz she don't want me falling when I get the bad news and might get a heart attack hahhaah. she just asked me what I missed an dhow many points heheh I only missed little points and she asked me to print my name and sign each papers then she told me I'm done and she said the sweet, sweet word probably the best CONGRATULATIONS I have ever heard !! hahaha! I said "REALLY?' in my dorky gesture with a big grin on my face!! heheh I was so happy I hugged her1 hahahahha and... I am not a big hugger unless I really love the person I am hugging like my hubby and kids! hahha but I love her that instant hehehhe she was so considerate, understanding and so nice:) i can say all the nice stuff about her hehehheheh ..well, probably I will be singing a different tune if she failed me hahhaha but hey.. I passed:) oh my god I cried! coz I really wanted it so bad you know so I can move into the next step and besides a lot of people are believing in me to pass it even though I wasn't one of them! I went straight ahead to St. Joseph's Church.. it's been a long time since I went to church but I went in there whole heartedly :) seriously probably all those old friends of mine who will be reading this will laugh their asses off coz I sound corny to them coz I'm not really a religious person in the world... but I did went and I thanked god for everything:) I passed all 3 of my exams, I just have my 5th yr. wedding anniversary, I have beautiful and healthy kids and a loving husband and I am healthy myself so what else can I asked for?? Money??? but I can always work my butt off to get that right? seriously I have been blessed and sometimes I was just too blind to count the good blessing I received and I just thought I am due to thank God for everything:) I went home & my hubby & kids opened the door for me:) I told them about teh good news and they too were happy for me:) so my hubby asked me to changed clothes and when I went upstairs I found very beautiful gifts:) I have 2 different kind of flowers and 1 glass heart that has writing engraved!.. wanna know what it was?? My name was engraved with my hubby's letter for me, his name and the current date:) he ordered it online and told them what to write in the glass heart:) it was very wonderful:) and then he took me to a Greek restaurant down by the street call PARTHENON. we both love Greek salad! When we're dating we always go to PAT & OSCAR'S in San Diego and order Greek salad! I had Crab Stuffed Salmon, greek salad & rice pilaf, Rocky got Lamb Souvlaki w/ greek salad & rice pilaf, Shaun & Elena ordered Spaghetti & Ethan ordered Steak Greco Wrap. Prior to that, we ordered an appetizer called Skorthalia, which is made up of Fresh garlic blended with potatoes, olive oil and seasonings. Served with pita bread. The food was absolutely delectable!The place was wonderful too nice ambiance and nice hostess..One of my favorite restaurant now!!!:) anyway, I have to go and get some sleep but here's some pix for you all:0 and I will be visiting your sites when I get up :) Darlene Thank you for the greeting you made for me @ BISDAK PLANET

Hello people! I missed u all! But moi muchacha has been very busy for the past few weeks!I have been concentrating on my Clinicals even though I rather not follow those Nursing Assistants since they didn't do their job very well! hello I was expecting to learn u know since I am still nervous for my upcoming State Skill test I am not so worry about the State Written test coz it's pretty easy ahhh not that I am bragging but it really is it's only multiple choice but then again still need to study for that! I still have 2 more Clinicals left!!one more @ the hospital & nursing home. Speaking of Clinicals, my first day was nice yet....sad. I felt sorry for the elderly,Some of them are lonely & depressed even though there's lots of people there to socialize but still it's different when your home! you know it's true when they say "The Home is where the heart is!" As soon as I got home I went to the shower directly not that I am afraid of the germs I got from the facility but I don't want to spread it to my family! And then I talked to my husband & asked him not to drop me off to the Nursing Home when I get old & he's got the need to trade me for younger one lol! Seriously, I rather stay home when I get older you know with my family with me. But of course I understand that some elders who were abused need a place where they can be safe & Nursing Homes can provide that! also when they get sick too NH is a place to go & that made me want to take care of myself more so I will be healthy when I get older u know and that way I can stay at home & still provide for my family!lol
I have never worn all white clothing in my life!!!I will take a picture of me tomorrow so I can share it here but seriously, I wear everything in whites! from underwear to shoes, it's all white! I feel clean hahahhahahha!!!
I still have no idea if I will pursue LPN or RN but at this time I registered myself to take GED PREP not to get a diploma but .... to sharpen my dull brain!I looked at my credit classes for Rn or LPN and I found out that I had to take Anatomy and Physiology,Chemistry,Introductory Sociology,Academic Writing,Synthesis Seminar I,Introduction to Nursing,Anatomy and Physiology and Introduction to Nursing and Health Care,Microbiology,Synthesis Seminar II,Introductory Psychology,Nutrition and Calculus all that for Semester 1 & 2 can you imagine??? I'm glad that I am almost done w/ my CNA classes since CNA is one of their pre-requisite! also they require you to get another foreign language so I will choose Spanish since I already know some of it and it's on demand here in the US! but LPN classes are not as hard as this ones but has similar subjects though! also I need to take ACT and SAT when entering! can you imagine? also the cost per credit is $250 that's a pocket buster!Gee I wished I took BSN in the Philippines before coz I don't think it's brain wrecking as here!ugh!
June 4th, we had to go to Ethan's graduation but...rain ruined the celebration.
well, it wasn't a big celebration but we just started eating and rain came pouring on us lol!we run all the way to car and sat there hoping the rain would stop!For some reason no other family came running to their cars instead...They went under the tree???? I have no idea what they were thinking as if they won't get wet just by hiding under the tree lol!later on... The weather got worst so they finally decided to run to their cars but... they were soaking wet lol!so they had to reschedule the next day but I had my last lecture class and also it was our lab catch-up so I didn't get to see my son finished pre-school:( I made him a chocolate bundt cake though:)
One weekend I cleaned our walkway since it resembled like an unwanted forest!I had help from my kids! also organized my kitchen it was messy & unorganized!lol I found treasures when I was cleaning!I bought a kitchen deco last year and left it stacked at the back end of my pantry & I was glad when I found it! lol!
Last Saturday,June 9th we went to my hubby's team party @ Mahoney State Park!some of his teammates couldn't come but we had fun though! all his team members and families are invited and no cost for us since the company paid for it all! We didn't get to go horse back riding since it was full, you have to register weeks before u know. but we went fishing! me & Shaun caught some fish but we had to let it go since it was small ...actually I could care less if it's small I can still eat it! I eat anchovies and it's smaller that what I caught! but it's actually the State Law!!! you have to let the small ones go since it's in the park lake. We stayed 'til 9PM we sure did have fun!
We purchased a new table and also new tub, vanity stuff and some bathroom floor tiles
my hubby is still working on the bathroom every chance he gets but he will be working on it more when he takes his days off! I don't think we will be going somewhere this year but will be working to finish our upstairs bathroom for good! then off to the next project! owning a house is a never ending expenses!There's always something to fix! but I still love the privacy and the freedom though!
Sunday was Father's day we went o our friend's house and also we got Rocky a book and a back scratcher hahhahah I forgot to take some pix so I will share it next posting!
Anyway, I would like Madame Carlotz for helping me in my lay-out:) I am so dumb in Photoshop so I just send her what I want for my blog :) I know she is very busy but she still takes time to do my perks:) and entertain my questions:) thanks a lot madame mao ni akong drama kanimo hahahhaha mwah!!! anyway peeps it's 2:30 Am and I still need some sleep I still have to go to my clinical tomorrow mwah!!!!! aah time goes fast huh??this is the way I like it lol!!! I have been busy doing my presentation for my class & i still have to do it lol although I got all the materials, it still need editing! so I will be doing it here in a little while, I just thought that I should post at least one in my blog aside from food lol! don't worry there will be lots of food recipe coming up I got the pictures uploaded already in my Photobucket acct. :)

Well, Saturday, we went to Omaha &helped our friend Bruce load the moving truck with all his possessions since he is now officially a Floridian so he just left us!!!!!well, I can't blame him hello Florida weather is so much better than our weather! Bruce has been our friend ever since we moved from TN to here & he got the job the same time my Hubby got the job! but we wish him all the luck! may he find someone there for him:)

Moving on, we purchased a yearly pass to the Lincoln Zoo last week and guess what now?? my kids are bugging me to go to teh zoo everyday????? I said no! I can do it once a week but seeing my relatives everyday?? I will not do that not at all hahahaha but we went the day after I bought the pass. I think it's kinda cool since the pass allow us to go everyday if we want to! and we only paid once! never pay another fee even @ the boo at the zoo week on October. The pass also allow us to get discount from another zoos. pretty cool huh? but I told them we will go once every week to see their twins! here's some pix!






We bought the kids, a small blow up pool for them to swim when it gets so hot outside! They love that thing. We will take them swimming @ the lake when we get a time off to go somewhere. maybe this year we are just going to Mahoney state park since they got cool stuff over there we went there once on Mother's day & maybe we will wait til my mother in law gets here.

I have been trying new recipes like that Beef Kaldereta I posted the other day, I don't have any goat meat near me so I used beef. I always like Beef kaldereta if your in the Philippines & you get a chance riding in Superferry that goes to Manila try their Beef Kaldereta wow yummy! although I don't think that you can get it in the buffet but try ordering it anyway that's what I did when I live in Philippines back then, and I get to visit my relatives in Manila I always order it when I aboard the ship! I also made Coconut Macaroons the only difference that I noticed is that the coconut macaroons that I tried in Cebu has more flour on it than the recipe I tried last week.

Last Friday, my husband took the half day off so I can get into lab Catching up! I got checked off on most of them & Tuesday, I got checked off on everything yo ho!!! I'm on sched except of course for the Blood pressure hahaha well, I'm not alone on that one! most people in my class didn't get check off coz we don't feel comfy yet to get check off with that we need more practicing! My mother in law will send me my own BP cuff ans Stethoscope to practice @ home!
Am I not the lucky daughter in law or what????? According to my school calendar, we only got 3 classes left for lecture then lab catch up on the 5th of June then we will start our Clinicals on the 7th!! wow!!! I am so excited!!!I get to wear all white clothing which is not really my favorite color! lol! yeah, my new teacher is so much cooler than my first one. don't get me wrong I do like both of my teachers but Diane is more laid back than Becky but then again Becky was pregnant then so you know preggy women has mood swings so I can't blame her for that! but Diane I think is just more laid back & one of the coolest teacher I have! Oh Yeah my teacher Beck just had her Baby last Tuesday, she delivered a baby boy who is 9lbs and 14 oz.!!!!!! that's a big baby! he is 1 lb. bigger than Ethan when I delivered him. so congrats to her!!!

hello folks how's your weekend? As I had fun on my Mother's day weekend, we ate dinner @ the park behind our house & Sunday, we went to Mahoney State Park in Ashland about 30-45 minutes drive from Lincoln. We are planning to spend our Summer vacation in Mahoney but I doubt that we can afford staying in their cabins or one of their tree houses! it cost $150 + and up to stay in those beauties! can't afford!!! and besides it's only 30 minutes away from our house we can just drive every day & still have the fun! I think we will be back on July when hubby gets the weeks off! Anyway, we didn't do much on Mahoney Park last sunday coz some of their services are closed! We cna go horse backriding but they wont allow under 6 though! and there's no double riding either so maybe we will do turns . They have pony rides for kids but it wasn't available last Sunday. We played putt 2x golf I forgot if it was 18 or 20 holes in it! Elena didn't play but I let her hit some & she kept taking my ball off the greens! which gave me the opportunity to cheat a bit lol! I think they all knew they just gave me the slack since it was Mother's Day !
It was so hot that day & i thought I wouldn't be enjoying it since I break out every time it gets hot but lucky for me it was also windy!!! I break out when it's hot & dry! After that we went paddle boating! I got to navigate the thing but dang it was more like an exercise for me lol!!!! which is good for me I guess! but you got to be on it for 30 mins. We just drove all over the park after that since it was getting late. We drove around to find the camp grounds. We are planning to camp out on summer. There was a lot of RV's Tents, they have different designated areas for each one! The Mahoney park also has water park in there so people get to cool down!
you can also fish in there. They also have their own groceries, fish cleaning areas, an elegant restaurant & much more! I can't wait til summer hopefully i don't break out though lol! that would be a bummer!
Anyway, Rocky had to cancel his trip for class purposes since I still am in school but he moved it @ the later time so maybe we can go with him since the kids will be off from school but it's not far it's in Iowa I think it's the next state but hey,it's better than nowhere!
I have to go to class this afternoon, I think we will do lectures & Thursday is on lab. I will be going on Friday too since I will be catching up some lab works! I still have to do bed bath & partial bath! Bp & pulse lol! well, they didn't gave us enough time to finish it! While we practice on something our teacher will start yapping about another one while u'r still practicing on a different one that she just demonstrate us! she must think we got super powers and she rush into teaching since she's going to be out for baby delivery! but dang she don't have to rush us just bec. she will be off! she's not the one who needs learning we are! but whatever!

Hello everyone! it's good to be back! I have been busy yapping, and merging my blogs! finally with the help of Ms. Carlotz I'm finally done!!! Managing 2 blogs is not for me since it gets annoying and i don't have too much time to spend updating in those two! why just not do 1 and spit all my yapping in this site huh??? I had to move on to new blogger since this Drama was on the new blogger but it was on a classic template! Carlota has been pulling my sleeve to move on to new blogger! And so I did it took me a while to comprehend but I got it somehow hahaha! My chow was transfered to the new layout for the new blogger but I didn't want to move my drama over there coz hello I don't wanna be posting my last year's yapping to the new one! so it was appropriate to move my chow to my drama! di ba?

Nothing much happened to me just getting crazy in lab! learning how to get vital signs & some other stuff! I have a hard time doing blood pressure!!!! It's lab day today so we have to brush each other's teeth lol! Last Tuesday, we had a lecture about Stroke & Alzheimer's disease. It was actually very interesting yet scary! scary that it can happen to me! My teacher told us what happened to her old patient who has Alzheimer & she said she acted like she 's like for months bec. her brain erase the current memory & led her back on her childhood ! she had no idea that her husband was long gone and she didn't know what's the current year and what had happened to her for the past who knows how many years she had suffer! if you saw The Notebook that was one example of how horrible Alzheimer is and also what happened to Meredith's mom in Grey's Anatomy! anyway here's some info for you.



Last Sunday, We went to Seth's Graduation & it was pretty fun! and the food was yummy! His wife prepared thsi stuff that tasted exactly like Lechon kawali! She told me that she will bring me some seasoning when she gets back from Puerto Rico. I wanted to go with her & she said yes since she will be going by herself! if only My hubby will take a week off to watch the kids hahah!
Me & my hubby has plans to visit Puerto Rico & maybe someday we can go! We didn't took some pix since silly me forgot the camera while we were looking for the invitation w/ the map on it! we couldn't find it so we just went to Mapquest & got us a direction to Sprague NE.. no definite address but we just drove until we found the community center that's where they held his party!
We've been having hard rain & thunderstorms here in NE! well, I kinda like it since I get heat rash when it's freaking hot outside! my face is getting better but my neck still itchy !! wahhh!
We've been going to the park almost everyday after I drop and pick up Ethan & Shaun to & from school! we had lunch & sometimes bring snacks in the park! I like the place a lot! We usually have a blanket in my car ...in case I feel like park hopping lol! we also brought books to read & let the kids play & chill!
I feel like trash today! Shaun woke me up a bunch of times complaining that he will be late! haha
Ethan didn't have to go to school today coz of some communication days for pre-schoolers! Finally I woke up @ 7:47 ! you should have heard Shaun telling me that everytime he woke me up & my only response was okay & sleep again! I'm tired from last night.. struggling merging lol!

Spring is officially here, as well as the allergies! It's been hot and not really nice for me! but yesterday it was chilly and so as today ugh hopefully it will stay this way until winter! lol! I don't like it when it's too hot!!! Monday I woke up and my face is swollen! I have this weird allergy and I have no idea what it is! but it started as soon as I set my foot in NE! I have been to 3 different Dermatologist and they all say it's bec. of the weather! go figure!
Last Thursday in class, we got tested for handling waste & changing an occupied & unoccupied bed! I had to practice twice coz I wanted to be ready when they sign me off. it took me 10 mins. to do the occupied bed! It's not easy you know & besides you have to be gentle & you have to treat the mannequins like they are real people so, you have to tell them what you're going to do and you have to talk to them every time you you have to put something or turn them over! exhausting!
Last Friday, we went to Holmes school for the kid's FUN NIGHT! yeah I guess it was fun for the kids lol! I had fun when Elena got her hair colored though:) she looks so pretty it was only temporary hair color it washed off when I gave her a bath. And @7:30 they had this a Capella band. They are actually pretty good. here's the pix:)





Monday & Tuesday we went to the park behind our house & we ate our lunches there. I like it in there since it's shady & the wind is cool & it helps my allergy being outside in the open area. If I am in any close area that is air limited golly my face gets red again! here' some pix taken @ the park!



Last Tuesday in my class, we practice feeding dependent patients well, we practice it with our lab partners. We have to cover their eyes with gauze they are supposed to be blind so we had to tell them what's on their plate and where it is located using the clock format. We trade places after we fed them. We also got to taste what a thickening taste like. It's well, a thickening powder to add in your drink. so if you chose pudding like.. then we had to put 3 tbsps. of the thicket and turns your water into pudding like consistency! then nectar like then Honey which is probably the thickest one! I didn't like it! just imagine your drinking a thickened water! you hace to use spoon to EAT IT! We had a chance to eat everything that everybody brought. Then after that, we practice on taking somebody's pulse, respiration, oral temp, ear temp & taking somebody's blood pressure! now BP is the one that is still hard for me!!!!!! I have to work on that since you cannot just guess someones Blood pressure!!!!!! ughhh but I got checked off on ted hose! Tonight, we supposed to do bed bath & taking height & weight! I already know how to take height & weight . Last night, I practice on giving bed bath to my husband. he was laughing & warned me not to wash his butt lol!!!!!! but he was being professional & he was acting like what patients would say & I respond like a pro too lol!

1. When I was younger when my mom took me to visit her friends & families, I couldn't stand
staying for 20 minutes! I just have to go somewhere else! And even now, I still can't do it! lol

2. In my schooling days, I had good grades until I reached TIRED YEAR!(3rd yr.) I began
cutting class & being wild.

3. I can easily forgive a person but I can never forget what they have done to me! I might
forgiven them but that doesn't mean I can be true to them again!

4. I never trusted anybody in my whole life.! I always have doubts. well, I trust people but not
completely!!!

5. I can never be fooled by someone! if someones being nice, I never believed it! in my mind I
have doubts like they did something or they want something thats' why they are being nice
and usually I'm right in things like that!

6. When my mom died when I was 14, I never cried on her funeral and even when they bury
her. That doesn't mean I'm heartless I love my mom! but it took me a while feeling my grief!
I am broad minded in things like that! everybody die and I can easily accept when people
come and go in my life! I don't dwell on it too much but I still miss some people in my life..
That is why I don't like to lay around too much then I start thinking about the people I miss.

7. For some reason I can work better, think better when I am under pressure! last minute job is
probably what I'm good at!

No worries, Jason wont be popping out and start slashing us! lol but as they say a Friday the 13th is a bad luck!probably it's some paranoid person whose afraid of number 13 and whose not thanking god it's Friday who just make this thing up! I don't really know if some people actually have bad lucks on this day and I wont make a mockery out of it since I'm a little superstitious too u know! they say it started when King Philip IV was arrested on Friday, October 13, 1307 then they remembered Judas was the 13th visitor on the last supper then Jesus was crucified on Friday! hey maybe it is so as I dais I won't make a mockery out of this one!

Anyway, on the 9th we let the kids hunt for eggs since we didn't get the chance to do it last Easter. We didn't get the children's easter basket either coz I was too lazy to get it out from the cabinet! fine, fine blame it on me I'm the party pooper! but I had a lot of things that day!

Yesterday, I was so busy! I broke my templates so I had to fix it this morning. Monday Shaun & Ethan deleted the disk drive and I tried to recover it by restoring my computer to earlier time I even used the search wizard but found none so, I had to fully restore my computer so all my files were deleted! good thing I saved some of them and sent it to my emails! Then I have to set up my email's contacts since outlook express sucks! every time I had to restore my computer my saved files & the addresses will get deleted too! so that's why I love my yahoo e-mail add. whatever happens you still have your saved files! and also my MSN account too even though you will lose the saved files but then again your CONTACTS are still there! it's so annoying when you have to type everyones details again!
Yesterday night, we actually visit the lab and we get to practice hand washing, putting & removing gloves, removing trash bags & abdominal thrust when someone's choking! hand washing is more complicated than I thought! Our teacher gave us a cream to rub in our hands it's supposed to stimulate germs! and she turned the lights off and she has this purple light and when she put it over your hands you can see how dirty your hands are! so we washed and she check it again with her special light lol! we had to do abdominal thrust with our classmates. It's kinda funny when your acting lol! however, I left my jacket on the lab so hopefully someone saved it for me! Next week we have to see our new teacher since my teacher will be on clinical on Tuesday and after that I guess we will be seeing her again but only for a few classes since she is pregnant and she will be popping out soon! I like my current teacher she has a good sense of humor and she talk a lot with her hands flying every time. I do like talking with hand gestures too I do it most of the time! I can't wait on our actual lab and clinicals! There was a lot mannequins in the lab last night as soon as I got inside I got scared by one of those dummies lol!
we have to practice with the dummies on our lab lol some of them don't have eyes or arms u know so they will teach you how to deal with impaired patients. I can't wait for Clinicals though coz you have to put on white uniforms and mask and stuff make s you feel like somebody lol!
We watched the latest movie of ROCKY BALBOA man he is old! of course he is old he is 60 duh! but he don't really look 60 u know but then remembering the 1st rocky movie I watched reminds you how time goes fast! I thought the movie was good! it was really good full of drama I didn't wanna see him box though! I didn't wanna see him getting beat up! but of course remember the older rocky movies? he always get beat up and then comes back to kick ass! lol! he didn't win this time but.... it's believable though ! it will be BS if he wins againts the much younger & stronger guy! but he proved that he still can box and he can still kick ass! I love Rocky Movies it made me cry a little when I watched the last one lol! you have to see the movie to found out why!
Anyway gotta go people I still have to take a shower and pick up Shaun! I don't feel like cooking tonight coz my energy is gone from yesterday! ! I had to do a lot of stuff and cook 3 different foods for my family and I didn't even get to eat 'til later! we had Chinese theme yesterday!
