Yesterday , I tried to make a Pork Afritada, how ever I ran out of pineapple chunks well, I just use one can of Basil & Oregano Diced tomatoes in can and man oh man it tasted good!
Ingredients:
2 potatoes, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
half cup of each red , yellow & green bell pepper, cut into strips
1/4 cup chopped onions and garlic
1 can Del Monte Diced Tomatoes Basil & Oregano flavor
dash of salt & pepper
4 pc. pork chops
Procedure:
1. In a skillet, brown pork chops turning both sides. Set aside.

2. Saute garlic & onions. Add potatoes til tender.
3. Add pork chops and toss for 5 minutes .
4. Add the bell peppers,carrots, salt & pepper and mix well.
5. Pour the tomatoes and mix well. Simmer for 5 minutes .

6. Transfer in a dish & serve.

Tangy Pork Chops
Broiled Ribs
It's basically the same when u grill it but if your craving for ribs on cold days you can just broil it!
Ingredients:
1 slab ribs
1 tbsp. olive oil
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup bbq sauce of your choice (I like Famous Dave's Devil Spit)
Procedure:
1. Place ribs in a broiler pan.
2. Combine oil, rosemary & pepper & brush on ribs.
3. Broil HIGH for 15 minutes.

4. Turn the ribs around and brush with the herb mixture.

5. Broil for another 15 minutes check temp. it should read 170*
6.Brush with BBQ sauce and put it back to the oven.
7. Turn broiler to LOW .
8. Broil for 2-5 mins.
9. Serve with mash potatoes & corn.

Yummy Ribs

You will absolutely love this one! so easy to make and delicious!
Ingredients:
1 rack of ribs
1 bottle of bbq sauce ( I recommend Famous Dave's DEVIL SPIT)
Procedure:
1. Wrap the ribs with foil. And cook for 15 minutes in the grill.
2. Turn the ribs around. and cook for another 15 minutes.

I needed to remove foil on mince since it's burning it.
3. Keep turning ribs around every 15 minutes until done!


4. Brush with BBQ sauce each sides. Heat for 5 minutes each sides & serve!

slow Cooked Country Style Pork BBQ
**Slow Cooked Country Style Pork BBQ**
This is just a simple recipe . You can use any BBq sauce of your choice!
Ingredients:
3 pounds country style Pork ribs
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. rosemary leaves
1 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tbsp. crushed pepper
1 medium onion, sliced
1 bottle of barbecue sauce
Procedure:
1. Combine salt, black pepper,crushed pepper, parsley flakes & rosemary leaves.
2. Place ribs on a broiling pan . Rub seasoning mixture onto each sides of ribs.
3. Broil High for 20 minutes or until brown. Broil 6 in. from heat.
4. Cool; cut into serving size .Place onion in a 5-qt. slow cooker; top with ribs.
5.Pour barbecue sauce all over.
7.Cover and cook on high for 1 hour; reduce heat to low and cook 3-4 hours or until ribs are
tender.
serve with Mashed potatoes , veggies & baked beans.

Ginamay
** GINAMAY**
I have no idea why they called this ginamay in my place in Pasil Cebu City. It looks like afritada but instead of chicken or beef I used cubed pork.
Ingredients:
5 pork loin chops , cut into cubes
1 each red & green bell pepper, cut into strips
2 garlic, finely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium potato, chopped into cubes
1 carrot, cubed
1/4 cup cut green beans (optional or substitute for bell peppers)
1/4 cup ketchup or half a can of tomato paste
1/4 soy sauce
salt, msg & pepper for seasoning
1/2 cup water
Procedure:
1. Cook pork until done, add garlic, onions & potatoes.
2. Stir then add 1/2 cup water.
3. Let it simmer until potatoes are done.
4. Add tomato paste or ketchup & soy sauce. Stir until well blended.Taste. if needed some more add more seasonings.
5. Add bell peppers, green beans & carrots . Cook until tender crisp.
Grilled Pork Loin Chops

Ingredients:
2 lbs. Pork Loin Chops , sliced
dash of parsley flakes
dash of black pepper
dash of salt
dash of crushed pepper
dash of powdered garlic
Basting:
olive oil mixed with black pepper, crushed pepper,powdered garlic, salt & parsley flakes.
Procedure:
1. Season pork loin with the rest of the ingredients. If you want you can buy a seasoned pre-packed loins. sliced.
2. Brush with basting and grill until done.



3. Serve with grilled veggies..... and mashed potatoes
