Hello, I got up pretty early today but went back to sleep anyway! Hubby has to go work today they are working on 3 big planes so, he wont be having an easy day til it's all over! He's telling me that he may take some days off on JULY! wow that long wait huh?
Anyway, we celebrated my hubby's 29th b-day yesterday:) we didn't get him anything coz I don't think I can afford what he wants! he didn't give me money to but what he want hahahaha just kidding! but seriously I can't afford what he wants and I don't think I'm going into debt just to get it! He will just have to wait on his big 30 lol! I have to save up for it u know! yeah right as if I can save! Anyway I cooked BBQ for him it's like a Filipino BBQ but I actually made it with red wine vinegar, honey & blah blah! I'll just post it on my chow! also, I made him lumpia since he like it very much and some garlic chicken fried rice! and a chocolate cake! :) but yeah he knows how much I love him so no gift can substitute that! huh!






We got a phone call from Bruce yesterday and was blabbing about how he's liking Florida & telling us the EYE feasting Hot cubans! lol! I think he will be moving this month! I don't balme him!Our friends Thomas & Regina are moving out too! they are actually moving to Dallas! ugh! I was telling rocky about that! I don't like moving to Texas coz most of the big profile crimes are in Texas! everytime I turn the channel on Forensic files, City Confidential or American Justice! it's always on Texas! but I think i'll be happy if I can see my Mavericks play lol! nahhh I don't wanna move to TX!!! I don't care if Dirk is there lol! My hubby wants to move to Florida though! god the hurricanes is what I'm worried for! yeah it might be sunny and Mickey & Shamu lives there but golly Hurricanes like lurking in there too! I don't think I would like nailing plywoods all over my windows & doors at least 4x a year! hello that would be annoying! but I hate snow so I don't know I can't even say that I rather suck the hurricanes hell than dealing with crappy snow! Ohhh I wish I'm back in San Diego! yeah yeah there might be earthquakes & fires! but I'm used to it eversince I was young in the Philippines hello!I think my grandpa's house has been burn too many times! I just didn't like typhoons!although it was fun when I was younger not going to school when typhoons are lurking around! I like the candle light lol! but thats' not really fun!
anyway, last week we went to the baseball park to let my kiddos play a little baseball ! I'm telling u that's one of the sports that I don't like to watch. too BORING!!! but I guess if my kids wants to play that sport then my butt will be there cheering for them duh!it's my kids!


Last week also in my class we got to visit the Lab we practice on HAND WASHING hahahah not really easy though coz u had to follow procedure and she had thing backlight thingy after u wash your hands then off u go in the dark room with her to check if there are germs loving their stay on your hands! pretty cool but golly took so long to wash hands!!! then we practice putting and taking off gloves (whoppi!) ohh ohh we practice Abdominal Thrust too with our classmates lol that was fun we also have to sharpen our little acting talent lol! and our sub teacher taught us BED MAKING ! lol!
Last Thursday,we talk about heart, pulse, respiratory system and blahh golly it's been a long time since I studied about all of this body parts!

and our teacher showed us some disturbing pictures of different types of Bed Sores! I'm telling u some nurses are so negligence with their patients! imagine a person cannot move on their own and has been laying on the same spot for hours & hours!I cannot even last for 10 minutes with moving my feet or changing position! how much more of those patients who are very dependent! of course they get bed sores! golly I'm telling u after I looked at the pictures my stomach stopped rumbling! I wasn't hungry anymore lol! and how nice of me coz I thought that I would like to share with you what I saw in my classroom:) yeah yeah u like that huh?? lol hey I thought I might as well drag you with me huh? lol! but hey I'm also giving u an information on what bed sores look like on different stages so if u know someone who is in a coma or in a nursing home you might want to tell their family to make sure to check on their love ones condition! Bed sores can be deadly u know! so I'm not just being mean to you all! I'm also giving good info:) O ha! anyway here's the pix enjoy people!

How time goes fast ehhh?? now it's the 1st day of March! You wont believe how many people make stuff everyday like today has 4 special so called event! The NATIONAL PIGS DAY!!! lol!!!! then there is The Peanut Butter Lover's Day ( another LOL!) and also The Saint David's Day ( which is celebrated in Wales, UK) and of course The Celebrate Share a Smile Day so of all of these special event to celebrate today the 1st day of March! I chose to Celebrate Share a Smile Day!!! so here's for you all LOL!


No school today due to bad weather! This place is cursed with confusing weather!!!!!! It snowed then it stopped and early this morning, my husband woke me up and told me that we should not let the kids go to school since the weather is bad..30 minutes later my husband called from work and told me that the schools are close due to bad weather! I don't like bringing my kids to school in a bad weather like this! tomorrow I'm sure the roads will be slippery so i have no idea if I will just call the school tomorrow and tell them we are not coming ! There will be lots of accident tomorrow and even today coz after it snowed it rained!!!!!! golly!!!! i cannot wait to get the hell out of here!






last Friday, My husband took a day off and I was glad he was here to spend time with us. we went to Home Depot & Menard's to check out prices and style that we like for our bathroom. Saturday my daughter started to get sick again and we had dinner with Bruce and his girlfriend Katie in Ruby Tuesday near our house. It was weird coz it started snowing big time! huge snowflakes scattered all over town. My husband has been drinking so I had to drive home I hated it!!!!!!!!!! Monday, my hubby took another day off since I had to bring my daughter to her doctor's appt.(AGAIN!) and had her tested for strep test she's been coughing and was running high fever! After that we went to get our tax done and went to Skate Zone since it was Skate nighjt for the HOLMES students. Elena's fever has been going off and on and it sucks coz it gets bad at night and we all can't sleep especially her. I feel sorry for her coz I bet she's hurting all over. I am just glad that now she is well.

Last 21st was my son Ethan's 5th b-day! He wanted to bring cupcakes and fruit salad for his classmates and teachers so I made the fruit salad the night befor ehis b-day and made the cupcakes early that morning! and after that we asked him what he wanted to do on his b-day , he chose to go bowling and buy mexican food instead of eating outside. so we went to Champions bowling and bowl for 2 hours then went to De Leon's to get mexican food and grabbed a movie and went back home! Rocky made him a cake before we went bowling so he was happy about that. He is happy that he is 5 .. he said he is getting closer to be 18 hahaha!







He wasn't very happy when he found out what he got for his b-day though lol! He got so crazy about his game and we got him a game that is educational you know but I know he wanted something else but oh well..!!!

Hopefully this will be the last snow and Spring should be here soon!!! So we can fix our bathrooms! I am so sick of the snow!!! I am so ready to move out so hopefully that Sattelite shop in Florida will be done before summer so we can actually have fun before school starts again!!!!!! anyway gott go mwah!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!!! any resolutions yet??? I have for the first time lol!!!! See, I'm not really into it coz I think if you really want to do something you don't have to wait til New year comes in order to pursue what your goals are!!! but I guess to some people it works since it's the start of the new year & start of making things from scratch again!!!! so I have one but I won't tell!!!! hehehe
The day before New Year.. I cannot say New Years eve coz it wasn't evening yet hahaha! anyway my hubby woke me up & told me that it's snowing!!! I said what???? why now I said!!! I don't want snow well, maybe just flurries!! but not like this!!!! I hate snow!!! I never liked them! even the first time I saw them!! too cold for me!!! too annoying! number one reason for many accidents here!!!! The roads are slick & crappy!!! who would want that?????? snow freaks I guess!!! seriously number one reason I don't like snow is because it cost too much accidents!!!! then you can't do lots of things unless you'll be happy skiing every single minute in the whole winter season duh!!!! that's just weird!








That night, I played Texas hold'em poker w/ Bruce & my hubby. by 9:30 pm, I started cooking not much,,, since there's only 6 of us plus!!! they are not into Media Noche!!!






We didn't take a lot of pictures since I was cooking & heheh noticed my fruit basket?hehehe I cannot remember which one is right 13 round fruits or 12 rounds fruits for the new year? I have more than 13 anyway! I made some beef steaks ( bistek) Lumpia, bam-i (for longetivity hahaha) & rice thats' about it!

I didn';t made any fruit salad & tjsi time it's not my fault!!! I bought one cream cheese & the stupid cashier voided it out since he started charging me someone else's stuff!!! I didn't see him taking out the cream cheese so i didn't know until the 24 when I was about to make it!!! And I didn't want to go out since the snow was covering the whole dang road!!! ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!I was whining about that for probably an hour!

Watching teh ball drop is not my thing!!! it's so stupid!!! why they have to count down again every 12 in how many different time zone here in the US!!!!! hello!!!!! it's not fun anymore!! it's new year in NY but not yet in Chicago, Colorado & definitley not in California!!! not for another 2 hours at least!!! I could never compare the New Year in Philippines!!!! Philippines new year is the Best!!!! fireworks/ fire cracker,, the sound of pots & pans banging!!! the sound of coins jingling in the pockets of people wearing at least one polka dot in their clothing lol!!! people yelling, hugging & greeting each other and that's the only time friends & foes are nice to each other!!! lol!!! disco in the street people coming inside your door just to greet you happy new year! & of course good food!! hehehe ughhhhh!! when oh when can I taste it again??? anyho!!! today is not snowing anymore but the roads are still crappy!!!& it's wet so it's really icy & slick!!! I woke up by 6:30 and fell asleep again!!!! I woke up & realized that my kids are going to be late for school!!! hahahah it's their first day to go back & we are late!! I almost got into wreck when I turned I almost hit someone's car but managed to turn it to the other side & hit the snow instead!!!lol I turn & went on my way to school lol like nothing happened!! good thing the person behind me gave me some space ...it did help a lot!!!! see?? that's why you don't tail gate people!!!we got to school @ 8:21 very late but.. there's alot of kids who were late! in Ethan's room there's only 2 kids there Ethan & his classmate Cooper.. The bus didn't came yet lol!!! so I didn't fell bad! well, a little!!! I wanted to go somewhere but I remember that i forgot my drivers licence @ home so I came here right away before I get into any trouble.... lol anyway gotta go people!!!! mwah!

hello , My Elena is now officially in her terrible two's!!! not that she didn't started any of it yet.. huh! anyway Yesterday I got too lazy to get up! I actually got up @ 6:30 b4 my hubby left but didn't get out of bed til almost 11!!! yeah lazy! anyway then I got panicked & started running around!!! I went to the store to buy all the stuff that I needed yet... forget somethings!!! so i went back to the store again... not only in one store but I have to go to different ones each time!!! Scatter brain is what I am! well, i didn't had anytime going out the day before since I had that major headache! It took 2 hours for me to finish making lumpia..... not including frying it! I didn't even took lots of pix since I was too busy cooking 4 different foods @ the same time! finally my hubby came home & helped me a little the my guests started popping while I was still cooking wahhhh!!!! terrible hostess ehhh??? we only invited 2 families since it's a last minute invitation!

Hello!!! yesterday was pretty fun!! although we didn't celebrate Thanksgiving @ home but it was a very good Thanksgiving!!
this is the first time we went somewhere else to celebrate Thanksgiving! We went to our friend's place @ Pleasant Dale NE.
it's about 30 Mins. away from Lincoln the town is only consist of 245 pop.!!!!!!!! this is officially the smallest town i have
ever been!!! but.....Pleasant Dale is a pleasant place indeed!!!!!! The food was very delicious!!!! they had Turkey, mashed potatoes,
sweet potato casserole, green beans casserole! & we brought rolls, pies, mac & cheese, deviled eggs, pasta salad & baked beans!
Raquel gave me the recipe for the sweet potato casserole!! I will definitely try this recipe!!!
after that we went to the park near their house & we let the kids run around & we also threw some balls! we went to the trail..Bailey was our guide:)
& went back to their place!
I like their town coz they know all the people around them & it's just so nice..
Thanksgiving might be only one day but we are so thankful for all the blessings that we received everyday! we are so thankful for our friends and families

Happy Independence Day!!! well, I guess now is officially the 5th so shall I say belated Happy Independence Day!! LOL. Our celebration was awesome! We lots of visitas! Ethan always like it when his friends are coming over! We got up about noon & went to dropped the movie & got us some stuff and that alone worth $88 then we went to the grocery store & got us some stuff for the party & got us something to eat @ Mc. Donald's. We then continued our cleaning! we've been cleaning since yesterday!!!!!!
