My entry for Orangy Sunday! I grew up in an island and fresh seafood is always available so I was a little spoiled when it comes to seafood stuff and now that I moved in the Midwest and having no salt water in sight in all 4 borders sometimes make my day gloomy! I love crabs–those ones in the pictures the one you get from the beach!(not the other kind of crabs!) My neighbors usually sell them and sometimes I can eat them for free–no limit! see? that is why I get too sad thinking about the old days. I also miss my neighbors stuffed crabs and thinking about it makes me hungry and sad at the same time which is usually a bad combination! Anyway, I got those crabs from the Asian store nearby.. I have no idea where they got it but when I purchased it, those things were moving. Eventhough I tried my hardest to cook it deliciously and even mustered some eagerness to chow them down.. I couldn’t help complaining and comparing them to my neighbors delicious crabs!!;’(

It’s Saturday and so this is my entry for CWD‘s Pinkish Saturday!
This one was taken last Tuesday during in one of our lunchdates. We went to the Mexican Cantina called Carlos O’Kelly and I was in luck because it was Tuesday MUg-rarita and I got myelf a Pomegranate Margarita. I know I said lunch and I am not a lush and I just wanted to try it and it was delicious!

A picture of my son Shaun holding his note from his counselor at school saying that he is their Spotlight Student and actually this is his 2nd time to be in that position once last year when he was in 6th grade and another one this year! We are so proud of him and I hope that he will continue on doing a very good job at school!

I am not a big football fan and neither as he but he wanted it sooo bad so hubby got him one for Christmas. She’s been spending a lot of time with me and not enough time with the other members in my family.. Guess she loves me more ^-^.

I missed a couple of days posting because of the Holidays. The weather is wonderful still and I can’t believe that it’s still Winter time coz it feels a lot like Spring! I was surfing the net one day to find some wonderful birthday gift for my daughter and I saw this ProPlants’ orchid selection and I remembered my time in my aunt’s house in Las Pinas with all the wonderful orchids in their garden near their beautiful Lanai.

Anyway, like I said missed a couple of days posting for CWD but here’s my entry for tonight’s Yellowy Thursday.  I am usually on my Facebook but I am not too crazy updating my wall every second but I love being on Facebook because of the games that I like to  play. Word Tornado is probably is my favorite one, it is a word game like Scrabble but easier to play ( app wise).  The picture above was taken during my play one time .. it was a little bit unforgettable because I was playing with someone who took the game seriously! I had to cover her name coz it’s unnecessary but I just thought she needed to chill!

This is my picture for today’s Yellow Thursday. I found that swordfish at Trader Joe’s one time and I served it with delicious couscous! I craved for couscous the other day and I tried looking at the pantry and found none. I intended to get some yesterday while we were at the store but I guess I completely forgotten about it.

Anyway, after work today I slept in the couch! I don’t know why I was so tired today, I didn’t really do much. I think it’s the laziness of my muscles, I may need to get back into shape or simply learn how to do yoga. Hmm, maybe I need someone will give me some theraband product for Christmas! And speaking of, Sunday is just 2 days away and tomorrow I will have to drive to get my precious Sookie.. too bad I can’t take her home yet since she’s a part of a special Christmas present for my children so she will have to stay at my friend’s house til Christmas morning. I can’t wait to pick her up tomorrow though! ^-^

Taken on my son’s Winter concert.He’s not only in the regular band at school but he is also in the Jazz Band! He told me that he will continue until he feels like it so maybe he will still be in the band when he reach high school. All my children plays instruments and I am really glad that they are doing it because music is a wonderful thing.

My entry for Purply Tuesday, Dijon pork chops and Cabbage apple slaw were made for dinner one night. I love slaw but I am not the ones who like those creamy white slaws. I wish Winter will go fast ans soon it’s BBQ time once again!

This picture was taken years ago on our visit to the Mahoney Park here in Nebraska. It is a big state park with lots of fun activities to do like fishing, swimming, Horseback riding and many more. We haven’t been back and would love to go once again maybe next year!

This is my entry for Orangy Sunday! I made my own pumpkin pie just this last Thanksgiving and it was delicious! I am not only saying that because I am bias to myself but really, I was even surprised that it turned out really good! My husband who is very hard to please even loved them. He was skeptical of me making it because he doesn’t eat other people’s pumpkin pie aside from his grandmothers! He tasted his mother’s pumpkin pie and never liked them and so he never tried other people’s pumpkin pie because he don’t want to ruin it for him. But, I made mine and he loved it.. fine he said that it is the closest taste he ever tasted and I am happy with that.
What I really want to say is that I know he like mine better because he couldn’t even stop eating it! He just don’t wanna admit it ^-^.
