Homemade Stromboli is what I made last Saturday night for dinner. I made two things of them and I have to say that the ones with Salami and prosciutto tasted better than the turkey pesto prosciutto one. I have to keep the Salami and no pesto next time.
I haven’t been back at work but I really want to get back into it I just don’t know if I can handle it not knowing what my duties in advance as I can’t be lifting heavy things for now. I do miss working but going to Physical therapy 2x a week is a priority for now.

Anyway, we have decided that we will be spending our summer vacation once again in TN. We do want to spend time with my children’s great-great- grandmother who will be 95 this year. She’s not been in good shape so we want to be able to see her and spend time with her this summer. The children really enjoyed the company of their grandparent’s and aunt’s uncles company just like last year. California will have to wait another year, I know I have been saying it probably a million times already but family is more important to me.

I do wish that we have our own RV to drive all the way down so we don’t have to worry about looking for a hotel that would allow puppies in the room. Sookie our toy poodle will be going with us! We don’t really want to leave her somewhere and the kids really want to bring her to show her off to their aunts and uncles. RV would be perfect to have, no worrying about which hotel to stay and the kids won’t be bored on the trip. I bet we can get a second hand one that is affordable, my friend told me that there are affordable insurance and motor home repair too. We thought about getting one but we will just have to wait for a couple more years until we pay off my car. It’ll be fun I bet.

I can’t believe how nice it look outside, I haven’t been out yet so I can’t say how nice it feels to be outside. My children are playing in the backyard and I will join them as soon as I am done washing the dishes. It does look bright and nice and maybe, just maybe we can grill for tonight’s dinner.
My children has been asking if we can grill some pork steak, they love to eat it with garlic fried rice. So we’ll see if we can do it tonight.
Anyway, here’s my entry for Saturday 9′s I Will Survive:

1. What in the 2011 has proved to you that you are a survivor?
* Well, I am still here breathing , alive and kicking!

2. Have you ever stayed online for a very long time waiting for someone?
* Not really.. I use to wait for my family to be online so we can chat but we don’t chat as much as we used to.

3. Are REALLY ready for the holidays?
* Not really but I’m sure we just want it done and get it over with!

4. Did you have an imaginary friend as a kid?
* I don’t think so. I mean I sometimes talk to myself as a second person.. like having a second personality.. It’s a little creepy!

5. What niche network do you watch the most?
*I usually just watch HBO & Showtime!

6. Have you ever seen the ocean?
* Ugh yes! I was born in a tropical island I see it every single day, I smell the ocean every hour! it’s just a block a way from Where I used to live!

7. Have you ever been hospitalized?
* Yes! and that’s not including delivering babies.I still feel icky going to hospitals and usually if I am at the hospital, it always make me realize how important it is to buy life insurance, I mean stuff happen all the time and there’s no better place to think about the WHAT IF’s other than when your in the hospital!~

8. What do you think of the US Republican candidates for president?
* Presidents are all the same… They are politician all they say is a promise that probably they intend to do but you gotta understand even though how much they want their promises to be fulfilled, they don’t run the country by themselves! There’s always the Senate and the Congress who will vote whatever bill to pass. so for me, they are all the same… republicans and democrats!

9. Could you imagine life without a computer?
* It’ll be hard. I mean we use the computer as a part of our everyday living! I even use my computer to set up an appointment! So it’ll be tough but I can’t say I can’t live without it!

Raining

It rained today yay! It has been a while since it rained last and we needed this one for a long time. It has been super hot and dry and it’s about time to cool things down. Yesterday wasn’t bad at all, it went all the way to 85 and it was nice. When it got cooler we drove to the lake just to look around and there weren’t a lot of people since it’s on the weekdays but there are some campers camping. Starting Monday, it’s going to a busy week! We need to go to my son’s school and pick up his class schedule and also to check out his new locker. He’s going to be on 7th grade so it’ll be fun for him. He’s going to be in the band & archery team this year but I think he will go to French instead of Spanish class this year. So there will be some changes.
Anyway, it’s Friday and it’s Friday Fill –ins so here we go!

1. How can I life insurance quotes without going to different sites.

2. We need to get some weed killer.

3. My hair needs a new kind of shampoo.

4. I never been to class reunion, even my own!

5. My favorite summer fruits are Santol, green mango, guava and Sineguelas!

6. We heard a loud bang last night and my son was asking me…what was that?

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to sleep early, tomorrow my plans include grocery shopping and Sunday, I just want to stay at home!!

Prepared

We talked about it and finally my hubby got a life insurance for the both of us from his work but I also want to get my own as an additional Wholesale Insurance. I know that some people think this is unnecessary but we don’t know what’s ahead of us and it is better to be prepared and having a life insurance really helps if something really does happen. I mean people made living will and college plans and life insurance fits around those lines, preparing what’s in the future right?

Busy Buzzy Month

OH so Busy , yes I am! I am running around doing errands, volunteer work and most especially I am ecstatic about my bathroom to be done! No kidding, it will be done by the end of May! We already signed the contract and they already ordered the window for my bathroom and it will arrive on the first week of May which is the scheduled date to remodel my upstairs bathroom! We have to make sure that by 7 Am the bathroom will be available for them to work on so that means for 2 weeks, we have to wake our butts very early to take a shower before people shows up in my house! Great! That means I have to make sure my house is clean before the day ends! Well, it’s a small price to pay to get what I want right?

I am also excited for summer to come and definitely we will be going (fingers crossed) hopefully any important stuff should be done before or maybe after my vacation because we need this vacation badly and we really want to go so hopefully nothing will be on the way! I don’t know for sure if we are going to get a new car because obviously we have so much in our hands and frankly, I don’t know if we can afford it this year, I looked into a couple of sites to see any cheaper insurance even looked into estatecarinsure but I just don’t think that getting a car this year would be a wise choice for us especially if we still want new windows installed this year. I do hope to get a job and I am going to apply tomorrow and hopefully I can get a job because I really really need one!

I just got home from the PTO meeting at my kids school and it was very interesting learning stuff and hearing wonderful plans for this year and for the upcoming next school year. This Friday, we will have the Fun Night at school and it will be fun and as well as busy but I’m sure the kids will have a very good time! Anyway gotta go night night tomorrow will be another busy day for me! Take care and goodnight!

Excited

It has been a very busy month for me and I actually like how busy we get because that way we are active and doing something very productive at the same time. Yesterday was the last day for my kids and husband’s spring break, it may only last a week but at least we got to do something fun for everybody. We went places, looked at couple of things, played games and ate out. Of course even on fun days we still manage to had someone to measure the window in my upstairs bathroom, we paid a lot of bills, compared insurance quote from different companies, talked to couple of doctors and called some people to volunteer for my kids school for Fun Night! I still wish that many parents would cooperate for one night event and would lend a helping hand but I understand some parents are very busy and others just don’t want to do it!

Anyway, I finally registered my daughter for kindergarten next school year, I still need to bring her for her for her Kindergarten physical exam and that will be on the 1st Tuesday of next month and then I can send in her physical exam sheet to the school for it was one of the requirements they had. She has been doing great being around with her classmates at school. I was very glad that we put her in pre-school, it helped her to get ready for actual school days and next school year, my dita tita will be in kindergarten. We are all excited for the upcoming school year and I’m sure it will be a blast for them but for now, we are looking for the summer break and get some more vacation time!

Allergic

I am developing some kind of an allergy but I still don’t know what I am allergic to. I am planning to go to an allergist finally and I am glad that I have health insurance lead to get me covered for all kinds of allergy testing. I went to my primary doctor for consultation and have things documented for me since that was the order from the Allergist’s office. I juts hope they will find what I am allergic to because I cannot think of anything that I tried that is something new that could be the possible root for this dilemma. I just hope that i will get better soon because it really is a pain not only in my face but in my ego huh!

Feeling Better

I am positively almost 95% feeling better than yesterday,I finally had a full rest last night after taking a medicine and hopefully I will be back to my full health tomorrow. I also missed some days in my volunteer duty at my kids school but hopefully I will be able to go back tomorrow. Anyway, I talked to my cousin today and she asked me on how to get extra insurance, and we found different insurance quotes that is very affordable to pay monthly. I am glad that we both looked into it because it really is a smart idea to get an extra insurance in case something really happen.

Tight Budget

We are on tight budget and thus we decided to canceled any services that we are using which are not a necessity for us. I am glad though that we payed some of our bills in advance that we didn’t need to pay them for couple of months and that leaves us a budget for the necessary stuff. Even with this tough time, we still think that an extra life insurance should not be over-looked just because we are on tight budget. We are currently comparing mortgage life insurance rates to protect our love ones and as well as our home if something bad will happen. It is always wide and nice to have that security especially on times like this!

I was cleaning yesterday and I found a lot of bills we got ever since 2 years ago. My husband like to keep the copy of our bill statement while I found it annoying and I started shredding it. It’s amazing how you can save a lot of money by switching to different insurance. We just have our refinance and our home insurance cost less than what we had before. We found our insurance online, comparing quotes from different insurance companies. Now we even save more because we use the same company in our home and auto insurance. I like saving money especially when it comes to important things like this that also deliver great service:)
