Last Sunday I was checking my e-mails and logged into the networking sites and even browsed about pleasanton motorcycle accident attorney until my husband asked me to get off the computer because he was on his way home from work and he wanted to watch a movie with me that we have at home. We watched Saving Private Ryan and it is one of the best movie ever made! I don’t even care if you will agree with me or not but it is! I love this movie so much and watched it countless times and I definitely will watch again in the future. It is a war movie and it has its gruesome scene but one of the best war movies ever! Tom hanks, Barry Pepper, Ed Burns, Vin Diesel, Tom Sizemore, Adam Goldberg, Giovanni Ribisi, Jeremy Davies, Paul Giamatti and Matt Damon did a very good job on this movie. I really hated Jeremy Davies’ character Upham in this movie and I love the scene with Paul Giamatti knocking off the wall un-purposely and exposing the German soldiers hideout and the scene with Tom Sizemore with another German soldier who threw a helmet at each other when they ran out of bullet lol. The saddest scenes for me were when Giovanni Ribisi talking about his mom while copying Vin Diesel’s letter for his dad and when he died calling out for his mom, Vin Diesel died while holding the French girl, Tom Hanks died and the scene where Matt Damon’s mom was visited by military people informing her about her 3 dead sons. There is too much drama in this movie balances the gruesome action in war and it makes you think about our men and women who are in war at this moment who some won’t be able to go back home and makes you sad on how many moms have received the bad news and how heartbroken they are knowing that they will never see their sons/daughter again:( I wish that they this war will end so that the soldiers will come back home safely to reunite with their families.

Movie Night

Last night as I was chatting and debating with my father about getting him a pill which is not necessarily a cholesterol medication but something that can help him to maintain his cholesterol level , you know he is getting older and I just wanted him to be stay healthy without telling him to go into diet (which I cannot even apply to myself). Anyway my husband kept asking me if I heard of a movie called “I hope there’s beer in hell” I said no for like a hundred times already but he kept asking and I finally got off the computer and I told him that I will watch it with him. For a title that is pretty long and without having to see any trailer we ended up watching it and I have to admit that the movie was pretty hilarious! There’s that guy in the Wedding Crashers ( Rachel McAdams older sister’s husband in the movie). It is kind of like American Pie movie but without the annoying red headed band geek and dorky Jason Biggs. Anyway , it was about a guy who wanted to go to a club in Salem to give his friend a Bachelor’s party and they ended up in their own weird situation but in the end they get to realized about something in life and they all get to be friends again.. blah blah same old story but it really was pretty hilarious! My husband kept rewinding to a part where the guy was thrown in jail for urinating in public and he called his friends and his fiancee only the one who answered was his fiancee’s mother over the jail phone it was weird he kept laughing and rewinding it …ugh must be a guy thing! But anyway, see it for yourself if u want a good laugh!

I watched this movie for a long time and I have seen it more than twice and it still get me wahhhh:(( And speaking of that movie I forgot my husband bought it for me years ago for Christmas and I might as well watch it tonight for some eye cleaning lol. Anyway I found this video in youtube and I”m sure most of you have seen this movie probably as much as I did but I don’t care!

I really want to watch this movie with my friend since I know my husband don’t want to. I have to call my friends if they want to catch a movie this Sunday night that is if it’s okay with Ofelia since she has to work the next day. Oh so hard to get the three of us together in a convenient time for all of us. I don’t think she will go next Sunday since she has to attend a wedding and it will be held on Omaha . I just hope that this Sunday will work just after my husband get off from work:) I like Meryl Streep and I just think that we might like the movie together. Being married and such really complicate the social life sometimes lol.

I watched the movie last night and I have to say that even-though the movie is kind of a knock out of “Fatal Attraction” it is still good! Ali Larter definitely is hot and is a good seductive crazy woman. She reminds me of her role in “Varsity Blues” but her role was not as crazy as her role in “Obsessed”. Beyonce did very well as well as the hot Idris Elba. Jerry O’Connell is weird looking in this movie, I always thought having a hot wife would make you even look hotter but I guess I was wrong. Anyway the movie is good and I wouldn’t mind buying a copy for myself:)

Demon Knight

I have this movie for a long time now but only on VHS. I still watch it from time to time just like Monday night. After worked out, I was home with my kids who wanted to do something with me. So I told them I can sleep with them in my sons room and we can watch movie all night. I convinced them in watching this movie with me and they actually like it. Jada Pinkett Smith, William Sadler and Billy Zane starred in this 1995 Horror/Thiller movie. I think my stomach is used to munching while watching and instead of grabbing good ol’ chips and dips, I satisfied myself with cold apples instead. I am trying to discipline myself , resisting temptation. I will try my best to eat right during dinner, if I get hungry later I will choose fruits instead of junk and keep motivating myself to exercise and try not to give into taking fat burner like Betastax yet. I heard that some of them works but I want to try the traditional way first see if it works for me.

Anyway, I apparently fell asleep while in the middle of the movie. My kids told me that i was snoring loud lol. Probably I was so tired that night, that I didn’t stay up to finish the whole movie. I promised them that i will watched it again with them before this week is over.

Gift For Me

My husband surprised me when he got home from the store. He bought me Sleepless in Seattle movie. I have seen this many times but never had it on DVD. Yes, I am one of those people who loved Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan Romantic /Comedy movies and this is probably the one I love the most! Who doesn’t gave in when Jonah called the radio station for his dad telling the whole world that his dad needs a new wife? It was sweet and we know it can only happen to movies but it was still sweet and dreamy!

I love the way she looks in her old movies, I don’t know why she needed her lip plump! she looked very beautiful with her own lip, it matches everything in her pretty face. It’s her face and it’s her body, so she can do whatever she wants but I just thought she looked very beautiful and perfect the way she was back then.

Anyway, I saw “The Women” weeks ago with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Annette Benning, Eva Mendes and Debra Messing. It was an A-okay movie, predictable and my girl Jada only had a little exposure in that movie. I would’ve like it better if she dissed her cheating husband and not bother going out with him anymore, but that’s me! I’m just glad I have another DVD!

I bought the disc along with my daughter’s favorite Aquamarine. I watched Meet Joe Black 3x already since I bought it and I just couldn’t get enough of it. I love the plot and of course Joe Black lol! It must be nice, if death really looks like Brad Pitt hehe that wouldn’t be too bad of a journey.

So anyway, we haven’t checked out any other movies aside from 2 whole season of HBO’s Big Love . The drama grew in my husband’s liking I guess since he quit complaining hehe. I know it sounds so depressing watching the whole season of a certain TV show but I like it.

I haven’t watched new movies lately, I don’t even know if there’s any good movies that are coming out. I have seen Twilight I don’t think it’s great like a lot of people do , it’s an okay movie. There’s one movie that is similar to Twilight and an adaptation by the book of author John Ajvide Lindqvist it’s called“Let The Right One In”. Its’ a 12 yr. old boy who befriend and fell in love with a vampire girl. well, kind of like Twilight but I think it is more sad and slower than Twilight.
I know many people will say something about this but….Robert Pattinson is not the hottest vampire in movies! I beg to defer but Stuart Townsend of Queen of the Damned is by far the hottest vampire ever! Dominic Purcell as Drake in Blade Trinity is hotter than Pattinson and Gerard Butler is also one hot Dracula in Dracula 2000. But for me , Stuart Townsend is the hottest vampire ever!I love Brad Pitt, but I never thought that Brad Pitt is one hot vampire in “Interview with the Vampire” along with Tom Cruise. I rest my case about the hottest Vampire in movies they will never come and bite me anyway!!

I can’t complain anything about yesterday! My day started by visiting blogs, receiving a phone call, searching for a leather sofa like those in discount furniture, and received an e-mail from a friend. I always made a point in checking one email account. Also yesterday’s weather was nice. The other good part is that I didn’t have to cook anything and I had my part in St. Patrick’s Day by watching my favorite Irish movie “The Boondock Saints” lol. This movie always made me laugh and I don’t get tired watching this movie over & over again. Probably it has something to do with Sean Patrick Flanery & Norman Reedus and it is also a good movie! Violence yes? Hot guys? definitely ! well…. at least just the 2 of them! I never get tired watching this movie! It’s old and yet it’s still good. I’ll tell you how interested I am everytime I watched this movie. I never do anything else but focus on the movie! I didn’t even bother to do my cross-stitch which I always do even if I’m watching a movie or something! Me and my husband loved this movie so much. Anyway, I am 1/4 done with my current Cross-stitch pattern the “Diamond Avenue”. I still have a long way to go before it gets done! See the picture below

I am hoping that it will be finish at the end of next month but I don’t know if I can do it! I’ll sit more I guess.~ Anyway, enjoy the rest of your week mwah!

Always Get Me

It was my crying day yesterday …I watched two of my favorite movies of all time and even though I have watched these movies hundred times, it always get me! Schindler’s List is heartbreaking! it’s a long movie and very, very good and heart breaking! I just can’t imagine living in that situation with the Nazis. Ralph Fiennes & Liam Nesson both played good roles and with superb acting. I just hated Ralph Fiennes character though as Amon Goeth the sadistic Nazi.Oskar Schindler helped1200 Jews in that time, spent everything he has and risked his life.I have watched this movie the first time it came out on VHS in the Philippines on 1994, bought it on 2000 and watch it everytime I feel like crying or just looking for someone to admire as a person.

After that I watched the 50 first dates starred by Adam Sandler & Drew Barrymore. I didn’t like this movie , the first time I saw it. I saw it again on TV and started liking it and my husband bought it for me as a gift one Christmas and I watched it a hundred times since. I think I like the last part the best, when she woke up and found out that she is married and they are sailing in Alaska meeting her daughter yet again for the first time… It always get me! I don’t know why. I already know what’s going to happen in both movies and yet I bawled like a baby!
