I can feel the winter coming and it is scarier than whatever we feel during Halloween! I am still disappointed because we didn’t get to go to the Pumpkin Patch all because my daughter’s piano teacher forgot to tell me that she does have a lesson today! But whatever!
There’s no school today and I think it’s their one day off for Fall Break! Yes it used to be a whole week off but they change it for whatever reason? I couldn’t fathom! Tomorrow is another day and my son will have a violin after school lesson at school and I am excited for him to learn it well. He dropped the guitar class (like me) because it’s a little hard but I hope that he will decide to get back into it someday. My husband is encouraging him to pick up his guitar and just start practicing, whatever he learned from his guitar teacher and maybe one day he will be able to play easy songs on the guitar. I know I should give it a try again!
Anyway, here’s my entry for Curious as a Cat’s week #293:
1) If you could ask any historical person for advice, who would it be and why?
* Einstein=== Because I am somewhat dumb when it comes to Math! Wouldn’t it be great if he can tutor me?

2) How do you react when someone says something unexpectedly unkind to you?
* I would probably raise my eyebrow and I probably strike it the setting is not in public.

3) Your neighbor just bought a new metal detector. What did she just find in your backyard that she’s so excited about?
*Probably lots of change.. you can find lots of change in my house.

4) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

* It look like the box of my food colorings..

Good movie Bad Boys with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence and great song by Diana King! I loved this song ever since I first heard it! The 90′s is just awesome! Great decade, fashion was simple a definite upgrade from the 80′s, I was even crazy with the trend of boots! Whether it’senglish riding boots or the Dr. Martens which I have to admit that I had 2 of those! Great songs whether it’s pop, rock, R&B, New Wave and especially the Grunge Music! Yes I was a fan of the Cure and still an admirer of Green Day and will forever love Nirvana! The Temple of the Dog, Paw, Better than Ezra are one of my favorite too and there’s more to mention but let’s focus on 1995 hit Diana King’s Shy Guy … Enjoy!

Mellow Sunday

For some reason people decided to call me today! I woke up with the first call from the Census bureau, I need to call them back since this is supposed to be the last call I will receive from them. Then it’s like a call-a-thon after that! My friend from Florida called because she wanted to try her Magic Jack! which I don’t think works very well since she can hardly heard me! Then my cousin from Cali called and asked me about Jetboil products, they are planning to take the kids camping this Spring Break, then my friend from Oregon called because she wanted to know if it’s okay to add ketchup instead of tomato paste in her Afritada! LOL! But these calls are normal compared to one time my friend called me and asked me if it was wrong for her to fed her less than a year baby some honey!!! I was like “didn’t you read the back label first before giving it to him? her call was useless since the baby ingested the honey already!!! But anyway, I’m they called since I overslept and I have a lot of things to do today including laundry.
Anyway, I bought this exercise DVD program called TurboFire and man it really is not for lazy people but I love the song and the energy of the people though. My kids decided to join me and two of my kids were awesome especially the little girl! She just kept jabbing it was fun! I had my exercise time today yay me!
And oh, Remember this?

I have to admit that I kinda like this song. Like enough that’s it’s still in my ipod and I don’t know why I like it! Many people think it was dumb but I thought it was funny especially when I first heard it. I will leave u jamming with Weird Al coz I gotta finish my chores today! Ta..ta!

Yay! There’s no more snow in the ground and we have been walking actually and 4 miles was exhausting ( I know I’m lazy!) I’m just happy that we will be enjoying more of this wonderful weather and we actually turned off our heater and it is a relief to take a break from gas bill! I won’t be cracking up the air-conditioner just yet because there’s no need to nothing that ceiling fans can’t handle! It’s wonderful not too hot and not too cold! I don’t even need a thick jacket anymore and I won’t turn the air conditioner unless if the hot weather get excruciating enough! Hey were about to have that gas bill break why would I wanna start raising some other bill up? I’ll wait!

The Eraserheads! Well, you might know them if you are a Filipino or have heard this band. But the song is from their second album Circus which was released on 1994 and yes I was one of the bandwagon who fell in love with the group! I loved their songs from their first album Electromagnetic Pop but my favorite would be Ligaya! then followed by Pare Ko which became a movie title with a young Jomari Yllana! yes I was a Gwapings fans and this is somewhat embarassing to admit lol!

I watched this in SM Cebu City with my pregnant cousin, my aunt, my uncle and his wife. It was a very long movie. I remembered that as soon as it was done the stores in the mall are all closed except for the cinemas. This movie was awesome and it still is! Madonna was made to do this role no disrespect to Patti Lupone who did excellent on the Broadway. But I like the more cinematheque scene and Antonio Banderas lol. I have this movie and the soundtrack too and my husband doesn’t like to use my ipod coz it’s in there too! He never liked the movie well, he doesn’t like Musicals and that somewhat sucks because musicals are awesome… I should say most musicals since I don’t like Glee, I never like Grease nor the movie called Dirty Dancing! Anyway, here’s the lyrics!

Yes, its that song that most of you loved when you were once young & broken-hearted.. but not me! This song grew on me not because some dumb-ass guy broke my heart and made me cry! Nope! I swear, I thought my eardrums would burst when my cousin kept playing it and singing it over, and over again like a broken record.. wait.. it was a broken record after I hid it for a long time and it broke somehow har! har! wait.. this reminds me on how my Divinyls tape was broken… My dad & my brother was annoyed by me kept singing “I’m Jealous” over & over again.. But that’s another story, I’ll tell you that in some other post later!

I do like the lyrics and the beat and it made me like the song which sometime I even catch myself singing it while I am in my bathroom!( not that, you needed to know that!) But I was not crazy over it when it first came out and definitely when my cousin was so over melodramatic about her past relationship! just a thought of posting this one coz guess what???
