I took this one when we went driving around one day. We were looking for a new(er) vehicle for me but found none that was on our budget so we just drove around town. We stopped by at the park right behind ours and though it was freezing we decided to wander around and we found lots of ducks /geese) all over the water in the park! It was quite weird but beautiful at the same time. I bet there are views quite similar if not better in one of those popular outer banks real estate for sale especially the waterfront properties.

Anyway, I didn’t another car since I decided to use the expedition we parked in our garage. We don’t use it frequently only if we go on trips but I guess it’s my everyday car now but it is somewhat too big for me but it is awesome ! ^-^

I have finished Blind Fury the last installment of Lynda La Plante’s Detective Anna Travis Mystery. It was a roller coaster and I felt sorry for the character but I hope on the next book she will finally find peace and happiness! I cannot wait for another installment and also I am excited for Deadlocked to be out this May! Oh yeah another Sookie Stackhouse Novel and I can’t wait.
I have been reading a lot of books for the past year and as much as I read I should try getting an online bachelors degree. I know that taking courses online require a lot of reading and projects like my husband did last year. He liked the flexibility though, he does it at home and when he felt comfortable and when he had time , it worked for him.
I do wish to go back to school but I have to gather a lot of information first because I can’t afford it honestly and I really need some information about educational financial aid. I know there are a lot of information online but I also wanted to check the local agencies see what I can do. I do hope it won’t take me forever!

Homemade Stromboli is what I made last Saturday night for dinner. I made two things of them and I have to say that the ones with Salami and prosciutto tasted better than the turkey pesto prosciutto one. I have to keep the Salami and no pesto next time.
I haven’t been back at work but I really want to get back into it I just don’t know if I can handle it not knowing what my duties in advance as I can’t be lifting heavy things for now. I do miss working but going to Physical therapy 2x a week is a priority for now.

Anyway, we have decided that we will be spending our summer vacation once again in TN. We do want to spend time with my children’s great-great- grandmother who will be 95 this year. She’s not been in good shape so we want to be able to see her and spend time with her this summer. The children really enjoyed the company of their grandparent’s and aunt’s uncles company just like last year. California will have to wait another year, I know I have been saying it probably a million times already but family is more important to me.

I do wish that we have our own RV to drive all the way down so we don’t have to worry about looking for a hotel that would allow puppies in the room. Sookie our toy poodle will be going with us! We don’t really want to leave her somewhere and the kids really want to bring her to show her off to their aunts and uncles. RV would be perfect to have, no worrying about which hotel to stay and the kids won’t be bored on the trip. I bet we can get a second hand one that is affordable, my friend told me that there are affordable insurance and motor home repair too. We thought about getting one but we will just have to wait for a couple more years until we pay off my car. It’ll be fun I bet.

I am still cleaning my daughters room for now but I think I am almost done so I can go ahead and clean the rest of the house and then, I can put the Christmas tree up!
As I was cleaning my daughters room, I gathered lots of clothes that doesn’t fit her anymore and I was thinking to bring them all to the People’s City Mission. I bet there are lots of kids who need these clothes. I have some coats too and that will be useful for them especially at this time of the year. I will devote myself into cleaning the rest of the house tomorrow and then I can move on into another stuff!

I really need to clean my house before Christmas, I have a special surprise for my children and a clean house is a must. I am not very happy about the weather this weekend though since they say it is going to snow! I don’t really mind as long as it will stop sometime so I will get all my shopping done and get that surprise then it can go back to snowing for all I care. Tomorrow, I will tackle my daughter’s room and I may have to host another garage sale but not as big this time. ^-^

Today is the day ♥ and I hope that you are enjoying your Thanksgiving day. My turkey is still cooking but I made my pumpkin pie last night and I will be able to taste it later. The turkey should be done by 5 and we still need to cook the potatoes and green beans casserole.
For now, kids are busy playing, hubby is busy watching football and I am just browsing the internet. Enjoy ♥

2 more days before Thanksgiving and we didn’t shop for anything that’s for Thanksgiving at all so we basically need everything for the dinner. We have to buy the turkey, rolls, eggs and for the pumpkin pie that I want to make. I haven’t tried baking a pumpkin pie so I just thought that this year I could bake us one but I will surely buy some kind of pie if ever my pumpkin pie won’t turn out the way I want it to be..just to be safe. So after dropping the kids to school tomorrow, grocery shopping will be the first thing that we will definitely do tomorrow morning!

I’m so..oh..oh excited & I just can’t hide it!!!

I have never been this excited in my life and I’m telling you that it is a little pathetic! I have sworn that I would never get and never wanted it but I have to eat my own words because I do and I love it already! What is it??? I can’t tell yet because it is supposed to be a family Christmas present.. although I know that it it MINE! I never anticipated December like this before, and so I guess I just have to zip it until it’s time..But I don’t wanna wait! I don’t but I am the mom and I should learn how to not spoil any surprises..
Anyway, today is Saturday and sadly there is no recent S9 meme due to the authors personal reason but she stated that we could just do one of the old memes that we missed and here’s one of the memes I missed..(I think )♥

1. Adam Duritz (writer and lead singer of Counting Crows) mentions previous girlfriends in songs. In Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby he sings “There a little piece of Maria in every song I sing”. Is there a piece of an ex that will always be a part of you?
* Yes but it is a part of me too and I already erased a part of him…It’s confusing.

2. Who was your very first significant friend?
* Wow I was surrounded with friendly cousins and neighbors and they always have been my friends. I cannot recall who was my 1st significant friends because I am closed to almost all of my cousins.

3. What are four (4) things you hope to do this weekend?

Clean vigorously
Grocery shopping- it’s almost Thanksgiving!
Baking/Cooking- I have been wanting to make an artisan bread & pumpkin pie.
finish all my work

4. What do you consider to be the main purpose of your blog?
* personal diary, keeping in touch, state opinion & make profit.

5. Tell us something that you’ve never before written about in your blog because it’s too personal.
* Two stories in my childhood that I can’t really elaborate because it’s a very private matter. Although there are factors now that I support that helped my family’s situation before so that is why I believed in challenging people to seek help from Best rehab centers if you have an issue that you really need to face and solve. Let’s just leave it this way.

6. If you could choose your doctor, do you prefer someone of the same or opposite sex?
* I heard that men doctors are better but I prefer women just because I feel more comfortable in telling her and when it comes to some personal examination.

7. If you could dream about anything tonight, what would the subject matter be?
* I don’t know can I just not dream and just fall asleep wonderfully? I don’t really wanna dream about something I want and waking up disappointed, dealing with the fact that “IT WAS ONLY JUST A DREAM!”

8. How do you react to practical jokes when they’re played on you?
* Gosh I ended up punching someone’s face due to some stupid practical jokes so please don’t even try! I don’t wanna get sued!

9. What’s on your agenda after this weekend for the upcoming week?
* Clean.. shop.. work and clean some more!

I finally changed the template but I have troubles with the index but this will work for now. I don’t really know if I will stick to the theme since I want something on my post footer and apparently the code is not working well since it only apply to one post. I like this theme but the images & post dated doesn’t show unless you click the individual post. I’ll continue to find the answers to my questions but for now, I gotta enjoy browsing the net and look for siegel tradeshow booths before picking up my kids ♥

Another year to celebrate and I wish for good health, safety and happiness to myself and to my love ones! I also include World peace on my prayers (when I pray) though it seems impossible but maybe one day there will be World Peace!
So I am older and trust me, I had to subtract my birth year from the current year in order to be sure how old I am because I stopped thinking what my real age is! no, I am not afraid to get old because Aging is a blessing! Is today different from an hour ago? No not really I am still the same, I look the same and I feel the same an hour ago ^-^
