I went to www.satellitestarinternet.com at work so that I could get us set up with satellite internet. Since we have gotten it, I have really enjoyed using it for trip planning. We are planning a trip to the Pacific Northwest in the Fall. We have had lots of friends who visited the area and rave about it. So far, our two major cities that we are planning to visit are Portland and Seattle. There are great websites for looking for things to do. One of my favorites is Trip Advisor. I like it because real people give reviews about attractions, places to eat, and lodging. There are also tons of reviews for different places. Another site that we have been using is Frommer’s.com. We have booked all of our flights , hotel stays, and attraction visits on-line. It has really been just so easy. I have been able to save us the money that we would usually spend on a travel agent, and I honestly think that we are getting the same great deals that we would with using an agent.

Guest post written by my buddy Bernardo Graham

We have been watching so many Christmas movies this year on our direct tv North Carolina. I say ‘we’, but I really mean my son. What else can he do when he wakes up at 5:30 in the morning? I just can’t get up that early and it is way too easy to turn a movie on for him and go back to sleep. Well, have you noticed that in ALL the Christmas movies, the kid wants a bike for Christmas? My son has been telling us all year that he wants a BB gun for Christmas. He has told everyone! And of course their response is: “You’ll shoot your eye out!”. He is probably wondering why everyone says the exact same thing every time! Anyways, so we took him to see Santa and he climbed up on Santa’s lap all nervous like. He smiled for a picture and then Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas. I heard my son whisper, “a bike”. What? He has a bike! I really think he just got nervous and said what every kid in the movies said!

While I was busy washing dishes and talking to my cousin on my bluetooth headset, I accidentally dropped my phone into the toaster slot and since it was heavy, it pushed the lever down and the toaster started working! I panicked and unplugged the toaster right away and I was very thankful that I prevented a disaster before it happen! I wish I can say that I prevented the fire we had years ago in my kitchen as well, it was a grease fire and since the firefighters were awesome they are able to save my house but there was a lot of damage that we have to replace all our cabinets. We hired a restoration company and they took care of everything, they made a deal with the cabinetry and hired people like the awesome professionals at the http://www.thesteamteam.com . Weird thing is that while my cellphone was getting toasty, I was still able to talk to my cousin on the phone! She mentioned that I am somewhat lucky that it didn’t caused fire. She said her neighbor had to deal with the fire and good thing they got through it and now, seem like there wasn’t any fire that ever happened because they hired the professionals that deals with fire smoke damage austin. It really is devastating.

I told her that we have been through the hassle. Dealing with insurance and all. Fire damage can be a hassle and the smell was horrible. Professional restoration knows what they are doing and I can’t imagine cleaning afterwards myself because I know that it will be impossible for me. I don’t have the experience and the knowledge when it comes to what can be clean and what to salvage. I know it’s easy to just toss things out but the professionals know exactly how to handle and take care of things that needs deodorizing and cleaning complex fire damage goods and tehy ahve the technology to do it. I have to be careful in what I am doing because I don’t want to see my house in fire again!

Everybody is in social networking these days. Even I am into it, I love the way I keep in touch with my friends and family without having to write snail mails or calling long distance because you can chat, even share videos and pictures online. The other thing I like to do online is bidding and even bartering, you get rid of the stuff you don’t need and get something you need in return. Now how cool would it be if we can put it together?

This is why I think Tradze.com is cool because it is a social network but you get to buy and sell without using real money but using “T-bills”! How do you get T-bills you say? Well, you get it by simply creating your profile, reviewing offers& websites from advertisers, listing something for sale and get this, you can get T-bills by inviting your friends, families and whoever you know! how cool is that? You can do what you do on regular social network but better because you are able to get something out from it besides all latest updates from your friends and families! Check it out for yourself and enjoy keeping networking and trading!

In order for the business to succeed it has to be accessible globally. Not only that it can offer services anywhere in the world but it will be more successful if it has representatives that would speak the right language in every every country that needs representation. That is why companies usually need help with translations services that will provide highly qualified translators for any business needs. You see some business that offers one language but what happens if you have a client that speaks another? You are not offering a business that could potentially make you successful, that is why you need to be ready and think before you act.

There are many bilingual individuals that some companies hire but the lack of professionalism and education that can hurt the company by hiring common bilingual individual. An excellent translation agency is very useful when you need a language specialist and can work in fields of Legal, Financial, Medical and Technical. They have the technology and wonderful talents such as proof-readers, editors, and translators that will work to deliver what your clients need. You can rest assure that there are highly qualified agents who will work in any documentations that requires their service and that won’t leave you inadequate. Spread you business not only locally but globally without the fear of language barrier.

This guest post from Lewis Beck

I was new in town and lucky to find a job so when I stumbled on this assistant gig I was really pretty happy. I love that there are so many ways for me to learn here and from the marketing plan to the t3 internet I feel like I’ve really made a contribution that is helpful for me in this part of my career. I know there’s something to be said for working your way up the ladder but to be perfectly honest I’m not so sure that I want to move up! I love that I have so much flexibility and that I get to keep my hands in every part of the business – I would say that at this point I’m the single most indispensable employee we’ve got on staff and that’s a good feeling to have. My mom says she’s proud of me and I’ve still been writing on the side so it’s not like I’ve got no outlet for my creativity – I’m good all around!

It’s Thursday and This week will be my last week of not working. I will be working again starting next week. Gotta save some $$ because it’s almost time for going through the Christmas List and that won’t be cheap! My children are already talking about video games that they wanted and hubby was talking about garmin golf courses and how it will help him as a newbie in golfing. October is almost over and Black Friday is next month so Mommy needs to work and save $-$..
Oh, here’s my entry for WTF meme

1) With today (Oct. 20) being “Shampoo Day,” I’m curious… Do you actually “rinse and repeat” or just rinse without repeating?
*Well after using shampoo I use Conditioner.. is that repeating?

2) The 2011 World Series kicked off Wednesday with the St. Louis Cardinals beating the Texas Rangers. If you went a baseball game today, what would you buy from the concession stands?
*Nachos and popcorn!

3) October is National Squirrel Awareness Month. Do you find squirrels to be cute animals, annoying pests, or something in between?
*I found it cute. As long as they won’t multiply too much and invade the whole yard!

4) On Tuesday, tigers, lions and bears were let loose in Zanesville, Ohio, by their owner before he committed suicide, leading to a hunt in which 49 of the animals, including 18 endangered Bengal tigers, were killed. How would you react if you saw “Caution exotic animals. Stay in your vehicle” being displayed on a road sign?
* I would utter the exact 3 letters of this meme…WTF!

5) Researchers from University College London has published the results of a study on Facebook’s effect on the brain. They say the size of some parts of the brain correlate to how many friends people have on Facebook. How do you feel about the effect of today’s social media on your brain?
*As long as someone won’t feel suicidal looking at how many friend they have on their friends list, it’s cool!

6) The authors of that study also said that the people studied with the biggest Facebook friends list tended to have the most “real world” friends. How does the amount of your “real world” friends compare to the friends you have solely over the Internet?
*I am actually friends to whoever is on my list! I don’t like adding strangers in my “Friends List”

7) For her Fall 2012 clothing line, Vera Wang has created a bunch of black wedding dresses. What would you think if you went to a wedding and the bride surprised everyone by wearing a fully black dress?
* I won’t feel comfortable just because I was brought up with traditions and superstitions but go right ahead wear black on u’r wedding day as long as u won’t wear it on my day!

My fiance and I had to remove two dead mice from behind my couch this week. Talk about a disgusting stench. What has been the worst odor you remember smelling recently?
*That would be dig poop in my yard! I hate dog owners who let their dogs out and not clean after them! If I only rule my own country… there will never be any dog S**t in my yard!
That’s all for tonight and enjoy the upcoming weekends ^-^

I have been working hard since there’s only 12 days of school left and it’s going to be summer officially.. Well, for students and faculty staff like me! I have been slacking in my guitar class and I have to admit I made a bad decision joining because it is not what I expected and it’s more of DIY type of thing and I could have done that without paying someone else! But I am still interested in learning ASL and I will try to register before the summer quarter starts.

What else? These past few days it became super hot but Wednesday was surprising! We were on Tornado Watch and the sky was very dark and the rain just poured like crazy! We thought we are about to spend the whole day into lock down but thankfully the sky cleared up and it didn’t rain again until late at night! I do hope that it’s going to be nice this weekend because I am ready for garage sale! I have handheld gps ready to punch in some addresses and of course I am looking something for everybody and something for my house. So I hope that weather will be nice enough to enjoy the weekend cheap shopping ^_^.
