We were looking for a new(er) vehicle for me but found none that was on our budget so we just drove around town. We stopped by at the park right behind ours and though it was freezing we decided to wander around and we found lots of ducks /geese) all over the water in the park! It was quite weird but beautiful at the same time. I bet there are views quite similar if not better in one of those popular outer banks real estate for sale especially the waterfront properties.

Anyway, I didn’t another car since I decided to use the expedition we parked in our garage. We don’t use it frequently only if we go on trips but I guess it’s my everyday car now but it is somewhat too big for me but it is awesome ! ^-^

I made two things of them and I have to say that the ones with Salami and prosciutto tasted better than the turkey pesto prosciutto one. I have to keep the Salami and no pesto next time.
I haven’t been back at work but I really want to get back into it I just don’t know if I can handle it not knowing what my duties in advance as I can’t be lifting heavy things for now. I do miss working but going to Physical therapy 2x a week is a priority for now.

Anyway, we have decided that we will be spending our summer vacation once again in TN. We do want to spend time with my children’s great-great- grandmother who will be 95 this year. She’s not been in good shape so we want to be able to see her and spend time with her this summer. The children really enjoyed the company of their grandparent’s and aunt’s uncles company just like last year. California will have to wait another year, I know I have been saying it probably a million times already but family is more important to me.

I do wish that we have our own RV to drive all the way down so we don’t have to worry about looking for a hotel that would allow puppies in the room. Sookie our toy poodle will be going with us! We don’t really want to leave her somewhere and the kids really want to bring her to show her off to their aunts and uncles. RV would be perfect to have, no worrying about which hotel to stay and the kids won’t be bored on the trip. I bet we can get a second hand one that is affordable, my friend told me that there are affordable insurance and motor home repair too. We thought about getting one but we will just have to wait for a couple more years until we pay off my car. It’ll be fun I bet.

Canada is one of the country that I would love to visit. It’s just up north and I would love to just drive one day and go see the wonderful places in Canada including Edmonton. I know someone who lives in the area and her mom also and she used to live by my aunts house when I was in grade school. She said that Edmonton host a lot of festivities and me and my family would enjoy it that we might think of browsing for rentals in Edmonton.

Edmonton is the capital of Alberta and the festivities are filled with culture, sports and arts. There is always something fun to do whatever the season is. On the warmer days you can enjoy swinging at the breathtaking golf courses, get your tackle on with over 600 lakes to fish and enjoy kayaking or canoeing into their wonderful divided waterways that screams adventure. Don’t even get me started on what to do during the winter because they make the most out of it by snowboarding, skiing and even snowshoeing! You can rely on having fun everyday on winter and with 6 different alpine ski resorts to choose from you will never get bored at all. If you don’t ski then go sledding and enjoy ice fishing!

I heard that Edmonton is best to travel in land and with all the wonderful scenic routes to take? I don’t even want to miss it.Of course there are beautiful Amusement/Theme parks that my children would enjoy and I don’t think I will ever get bored because I can only imagine shopping into the worlds largest shopping mall! I don’t even think a day is enough to hop all the stores in the 48 city blocks! Food and dining is wonderful and I know that we’ll be amazed with all the Natural Wonders to see, a spectacular zoo to visit and witness the unique attractions that Edmonton has to offer! I can only imagine and talking about all these wonderful things makes me wanna pack my stuff and just go see for myself what Edmonton life is about!

One of the places that I want to visit is Calgary, it’s not only the first Canadian city to host the Winter Olympic Games but it rich with economic activity. There are plenty of places to go for any tourist to enjoy like the famous physical landmark the Calgary Tower with 525 feet up the air you can see the wonderful view of the city. Want some more excitement? Come and let your inner child scream at the Calaway Park and enjoy different rides that your whole family will surely enjoy.

There are more wonderful places to go and accommodation is not a problem. You can even save money by renting a Calgary apartments or buying a second home or a summer house and searching for property is easy breezy, just search by price, type of property and you can even search for numbers of bedroom if you’d like.

You will enjoy your summer spending in Calgary by going to the heart stopping action in Calgary Stampede and enjoy the western activities. Love animals? Don’t fret for you can enjoy visiting over 1,000 animals from around the world at the Calgary Zoo! Your eyes will glow in wonder for seeing these beautiful creature. There are many things to do and wonderful places to see, getting around the city is not a problem you can even enjoy hopping from places to places by trains if you want to.

My son was invited to his classmate’s 8th Birthday. When he received the invitation he asked me to take him to a store to buy a birthday present for his girl classmate. So we shopped around a little bit and we end up going to the Hobby store and he found these things to give her. After paying for all the stuff, he then turned to me and asked me to take him to another store to buy her more present! I told him that what he got her was enough especially for a girl whose only 8! I then turned to my husband and I told him that my son’s generosity got it from me! Seriously, I’m not trying to make my husband look bad but he is bad in giving presents and when I have $$ to spend I do blow it in buying presents. I’m glad that my son got something from me and for that trait his future wife will be thankful and happy!

Anyway, I know it’s still months away but I am trying to convince my husband about going somewhere this year. We already plan about going to Tennessee and that is always our destination but I do also want to take my kids somewhere else. Don’t get me wrong I like going to Tennessee but my kids talked about how they want to see big buildings like the new york hotels they saw on TV, they want to go to the Empire State Building, they also want to visit Washington DC, they want to see the White House and also they want to visit New York and see the Big Apple! I am hoping that he can take at least 3 weeks of vacation and that we can go to 3 different places this year! we are definitely crossing our fingers!

We did have fun Deep Sea Fishing and our only regret is that we didn’t even discussed about going into orlando vacations. It was definitely on our way to Ft. Lauderdale. We have Orlando in our mind in our next big vacation though, we are thinking about bringing our kids to Disney World and I think they are at their age where we don’t need to bring strollers, no need to worry about carrying them and they are at the age of exploring and having a very good time at the worlds favorite theme.

I didn’t want to wait later next month just like last year but I just don’t have that Christmas feeling yet though. Some of my neighbors have Christmas decorations already and even that new neighbor we had whom I saw with long distance movers 2 weeks ago even had her house decorated with Christmas lights and some blowups. I have to get the Christmas stuff from my closet downstairs at least tomorrow so, maybe when I get that Christmas spirit I can just grabbed the boxes laying out and decorate instead of digging it out from the closet right? I also need to get us some new stockings because for some reason I always end up losing all of it! Maybe this year after putting it out I will store it with the Christmas tree decorations so I won’t have to buy new ones each year!

Anniversary but we exchanged gifts last Wednesday, the day before he left to Australia. This is the second time where he had to go to Australia for work related stuff and the second time where he missed special occasion like this. The first one was last year on my b-day and now for our Anniversary.

So since we knew we couldn’t be with each other on our Anniversary, we exchanged gifts on Wednesday. He gave me the Stone Slate and I gave him the flash drive with his initials on the front and our initials and anniversary date engraved on the back.

Maybe someday we could go somewhere nice on our 10th year Anniversary. I would like to spend our anniversary and vacation by the southern shores just like those properties that you can find at Outer Banks rentals, but I can do without going anywhere, I just want us to be together:D

Today is Wednesday not Thursday! For some reason I was thinking that today is Thursday! Probably I like to rush the days of this week because Thursday is my kids’ last day of school and I would love to sleep longer tomorrow morning!

Unfortunately we are not going to a vacation. Bummer I know I was thinking about our last years vacation to Tennessee and Florida and how fun it was. People who live in the neighborhood near the lakes and the beaches like Wilmington NC real estate are so lucky coz they got that vacation feeling all year long coz the bay are just right along their houses.

I am looking at the brighter side though, with us staying all summer long ; we can fix somethings in our house. We bought some paints last Sunday for our dining room and my husband bought some baseboards to finish the updating in our dining area. Also I could not believed how many junk we have until I cleaned our closet in searching for items to go on our upcoming garage sale. I am trying to kick my pack-rat habit and I finally took my old clothes out in my closet and into the garage!

Before going anywhere, I would like to thank Anne of Press Play for this award! It’s really nice when someone take a notice of your blog and found it interesting:) And I would like to pass this to all my fellow bloggers. keep on blogging with all your thoughts and opinions. Let it out and be heard!

Hey, it’s Wednesday.. happy hump day!
