Anniversary Gift
Today is our 7th yrs. Anniversary but we exchanged gifts last Wednesday, the day before he left to Australia. This is the second time where he had to go to Australia for work related stuff and the second time where he missed special occasion like this. The first one was last year on my b-day and now for our Anniversary.
So since we knew we couldn’t be with each other on our Anniversary, we exchanged gifts on Wednesday. He gave me the Stone Slate and I gave him the flash drive with his initials on the front and our initials and anniversary date engraved on the back.
Maybe someday we could go somewhere nice on our 10th year Anniversary. I would like to spend our anniversary and vacation by the southern shores just like those properties that you can find at Outer Banks rentals, but I can do without going anywhere, I just want us to be together:D

Not Thursday
Today is Wednesday not Thursday! For some reason I was thinking that today is Thursday! Probably I like to rush the days of this week because Thursday is my kids’ last day of school and I would love to sleep longer tomorrow morning!
Unfortunately we are not going to a vacation. Bummer I know I was thinking about our last years vacation to Tennessee and Florida and how fun it was. People who live in the neighborhood near the lakes and the beaches like Wilmington NC real estate are so lucky coz they got that vacation feeling all year long coz the bay are just right along their houses.
I am looking at the brighter side though, with us staying all summer long ; we can fix somethings in our house. We bought some paints last Sunday for our dining room and my husband bought some baseboards to finish the updating in our dining area. 
Also I could not believed how many junk we have until I cleaned our closet in searching for items to go on our upcoming garage sale. I am trying to kick my pack-rat habit and I finally took my old clothes out in my closet and into the garage!

GA Finale
So have you seen Grey’s Finale? I have online, and I am telling you that it really was a cliffhanger at the end. It seems like Izzie wanting to come back.. Poor George, he was unrecognizable when he got to the hospital but at least if he died , he died as a hero. Not many people would risk their lives just to rescue some strangers.
With Izzie, I just couldn’t imagine how it feels like seeing dead people all the time. I probably would go crazy coz I am afraid of seeing ghost and seeing them all the time would totally burn my sanity out. But at least Izzie’s get-away with dead people is very relaxing. She got to see herself hanging out and sitting on the beach with a blink of an eye like she had a instant Westgate reservation going to her destination …to a very nice and relaxing resort and spa!
The lists that Derek & Meredith wrote on a post-it was very cute and romantic:) Although I agree with Meredith to get married as fast as they can coz the truth is we don’t really know how much time we have left, enough to spend it to someone we love, enough to live our lives that way we want to live it and enough to tell the people how much they made us very happy and how much we love them. The finale is over ..many people think that Izzie is not the only goner in the show, based from that ending George might say bye bye as well. I don’t really what Izzie and George to go coz the show will never be the same without both of them.
Anyway, got to go to bed it’s 2:51 A.M and time for beauty sleep . Enjoy the weekends:)

Tag n Tell
I have been driving my kids to school for 2 days already. I don’t mind driving them as long as there’s no snow on the ground. They also like the extra time in the morning without rushing to the bus stop. They still ride the bus on their way back home though.
However it takes me 10 minutes to drive to their sub school but the view in the area is very nice. It is on far south and there’s a lot of empty lots with flowers, trees and golf courses on the way to school. I also like the smell of fresh rain in the morning and the road on their way to school has country setting and it’s nice that is why I didn’t mind driving them.

Next Time
my cousin will be visiting Cebu in a couple of months and yes I am jealous. It has been 3 years since I went and our plan in going next year definitely vanished. So we plan to go hopefully in the next 3 years, that way “hopefully” we have enough save and my kids are old enough to enjoy their vacation. Also when you live in the mid-west the air fare is just sky high and there are 5 of us going so we can’t really afford paying $2k each. We decided that when we are ready we can search for a cheaper air fare by leaving through LAX . We can drive all the way to California since you can find great deals, like my cousin she went to Cebu and she only had to pay $800 on a round trip ticket. It was one of those deals that they can find from Filipino travel agent. it is also a nice idea aside form saving big, we can finally go back to visit my friends and relatives in Cali. We just have to stay in one of San Diego hotel for a night or two. 3 years should come fast right? I know that it’s still long but at least we have a good plan!
